A very saddened to hear the passing of John.
He was a real hard racer on the track & a pleasure to deal with off the track. He was always a great guy to talk to & chew the fat with, at work or at the track.
He will missed by so many.
My condolences to the family.

It's with sadness that I also add our condolances to the Hynd family for the loss of John.
My 1st meeting with John was a Palmy opening many years ago when we were both in our rookie year, and following a big collision on the track between us early in the season, a running joke began that continued every time our paths crossed.
You may be gone from our sight John, but you will never be forgotten

What a shock, john was a top bloke who right from the first night I hit the track came up and said hi and wished me luck. He then proceeded to take me off the end After he had done it for about the third time i worked out that the dodgy foot story causing him to miss the brake wasn't quite the truth. It only seems like the other day John was quizzing us about our car and saying I have to get back out there because there's not enough hitting going on these days. My condolences to the family. RIP John Dave Tarrant and the 57p crew

I raced against John for many years and had the upmost respect for what he was capable of on the track. A genuine guy who always had time for a chat.
My condolences to John's family at this sad time.
