Somebody pass me a violin ;D The best bet of teams champs weekend was that Buster would be the first to use the words "rigged draw". Shame the TAB wasn't offering odds on that!!

Oh busterbell ! How can you say it will be rigged ? ! ! It's Palmerston we're talking about here. Rigged ? Just because Palmy will be matched up against Blenheim productions, Meanee's dwarf cars and Wanganui's sidechairs, that does'nt mean it's RIGGED ! ! ! And no disrespect to the aforementioned classes either ! Rigged ? Jeeeeeeeezzzz.

at least i am offering posible solutions. You only need solutions if you've got a problem With the Panthers being unseeded this year, problems could come for one of the chosen quartet sooner rather than later eh. Maybe even your beloved Tigers.............

The 2011 ENZED Teams Champs draw will be televised as part of TV3's Gillette Motorsport show this Sunday afternoon - exact time to be confirmed. The top 4 teams from last year, the Nelson Tigers, Team GB, the Manawatu Mustangs and the Waikato Wanderers, will be the four seeded teams, the other entrants being drawn randomly as to who meets whom. In a break from tradition, the Lucas Oils sponsored TV coverage of the event will also be screened on TV3 this year, following on from their great work on the 60 Minutes documentary last year. Brilliant news Barry

That's the nature of a random or semi-random draw, which most people seem to want. Personally I favour fully seeding the draw, but then one person's opinion differs from another on what team should go where, so you can never keep everybody happy. Last year's form-book reads that the Panthers weren't that good, and the Rebels were awful, hence they're both in the main body of the random part of the draw in 2011.

Come on Barry, the Rebels weren't awful, just had no luck, none what so ever! Ok you win! ;D

I had high hopes for the Rebels last year, and do again this year!! They have both the drivers and machinery; they just need to click as a unit AND have a little luck........

It's a long standing tradition to accuse Palmy of rigging the draw. Don't go breaking the tradition or we'll have to find something else to fill these pages of the board.

[/quote] its been a tradition every time we do well. as soon as we lose people stop complaining. it was the same tihng with the rees grass cutting thing last year, no one seemed to care that the guy he hit cut the grass to avoid being hit. i alos heard people complaining that ress was only sent to the infeild when a driver had previously been sent back to the pits for doing burnouts on the infeild and being removed from the race, people will complain about anything and everything and ignore half the picture when it coems ot the panthers, then act all smug when thigns go badly for the panthers (by people i mean in general, havent seen anything like it on here yet, most of the posters here seam to have pretty cool heads)
