Hi Ya
I am just wondering if anyone could tell me if Scott Miers is confirmed in the Palmy team after the accident at the Global 248s, I tried to listen to the archive of this mornings radio broadcast without success and he was going to be on there..........
Cheers Duane

I suspect that Barry B is already on the way to the hardware cupboard to get a lock ... just in case ;D Just deleted some of the rubbish. "ateamboy", be careful of continually rubbishing people or you'll be getting a wee holiday. Scott's interview was short due to our technical issues out at Karaka this morning, but he said he's wayyyyyyyy better this Tuesday when compared to last Tuesday, and has been doing some exercises and physio. I think he'll be there......

Just general disrespect to teams racers who deserve better manners.
Opinion is acceptable but it needs to be accompanied by some fact and foundation.

Click on his profile and read his last 10 posts, mostly slagging Ross Ashby.
You won't find his comments on Scott Miers though -- they're goooooooooooone.

@ ateamboy; a wise person once gave me a very sensible piece of advice; when you're in a hole, stop digging.
Just saying ...

I agree ateamboy, but it seems that some people on here do not allow you to express your own views, even though it is a public forum. Its also not hard to see that if you are unknown(or so they think ) to a few of the regular posters on here they find it easy to chastise you. Big balls behind a keyboard or a pen. Now to the point, if scott was knocked out then he would have to be stood down. At this stage i think only scott may know this, maybe he was for a slight moment but then if he was not unconscious when aid arrived who is to know what happened. Mr Miers is an adult , family man and buisness man and i am sure that he is not stupid enough to put all this at risk for the sake of a teams meeting. In my opinion that if there is no evidence of any injury that may cause him to be stood down and he thinks that he is fine enough to compete , then everybody should stand back and let him do his job to the best of his ability and good luck to the guy.

My suggestion Rob is for you to reveal who you are then, if you are so adamant about having 'big balls behind a keyboard or pen'. I'm quite happy to. Scott Wilson.

yep understand that only he would know for sure, he dus have huge knackers to wana race teams of all meetings after a horrific accident, but my 2nd question still stands if a driver was knocked out for a period of time outside of speedway would the stand down rule still apply? ?

My mrs asked after when she was getting mad with a Chicks forum she's a member of, "does this sort of thing happen on that stock car thing you read?" I guess I can tell her the answer now
