Well done Joe and all who put their bodies and finances on the line. And to put it in perspective re smash the bloody P,or tigers suck and general driver slagging, this WILL be my last year for speedway,I have terminal cancer,wo'nt be around next season so am enjoying the banter, but sick of it getting personal.

Well done Joe my only pick left who had a chance points wise.
Deserved victory at long (and overdue) last, long time campaigner, glad to see a driver whos given plenty to our sport get the spoils for his hard work and dedication....topping off a fantastic season for the Meanee club.
Hard luck to Mr Penn, Im sure he will be happy with 3nz, but gutted the number one podium spot eludes him for another season.

Got caught up with two tangled cars...went in pretty hard by all accounts Didn't look too hard from where I was sat, and he elected to stay on track after the red was thrown but never got it fired up again and was removed on the next red.

Theres a first time for everything = not sure when the last rotorua driver helped another out? I remember darcy hunter winning the nzs = all by himself. Hewson out now - and young hunter already had a wall ride. How many rotorua left? Paul Hickey will be gutted as he just said lol llol i no they are far to up themselfs haha but i no fraser got a fast car this season he must be the only one left haha oh and osbourne if he hasnt been knocked out again haha hope those R cars wake up and smell the coffe or taist the dirt haha

Good Call BaZZA you'd have to say Steiny proved all us nay sayers wrong with a real strong performance - best thing was he told the crowd (and us listening at home) it was coming, which is also awesome. SOunds like (from the great radio commentary) it was an awewsome event, and credit should go to all who made it happen.

Fantastic night's racing last night...and great to see Faram take the title; astounded he managed to get through the last heat as he did, given that those P cars would have all been looking for him, but he looked slick all weekend and deserved the result.
Congrats also to the SN officials, etc from last night. After some criticism levelled at them following Saturday's racing about red lights, they were very sharp on them last night (although a few of the drivers still have a bit of work to do when it comes to stopping when they come on).
A really slick night by everyone involved.

Fantastic night, track was good for racers, racing flowed really well. On all accounts from this spectator it was a great event.
Ive only got 2 gripes, the over enthusiastic and rather "merry" people behind us who became some what abusive and after reading the entry info and it saying $25 for entry then turning up and having to pay a further $2 to park.
Ive emailed the club about it before because some people dont go with extra cash and it may catch some budget spectators out.
But as ive said other than those two in comparison tiny issues a fantastic night and really well run, and as usual a top notch fireworks display.
