im sorry for my ignorance but who is alan dunn? waikato wanderer used to race Stockcar out of Huntly? , seen on saturday night at Rotorua in superstock 7h (Wallbank) Predominantly ran out of Bay Park and Kihikihi I think, but from memory did a small stint at Huntly as 48H. Did a good job for the Crusaders when he was in the Eaton Tank, will be an asset to the Wanderers.

Alan Dunn ran out of Huntly in the 90's.. he is not known for winning anything because he is a manic stirrer.. my mates who knew him often compared him to Ron Tye. In the 00's he raced the Eaton tank alot and got a bit of a following as "the" stirrer when the Eaton tank moved from running out of Kihikihi to Baypark. The guy has great timing and no fear.

Some background on the Wanganui line-up.
Steve Heibner is down in Nelson with Kyle at the Nelson Stock Shock so Phil Ridland is looking after the team.
14V - Gavin in one of the Ridland cars. 15V - Brad in his own car. 16V - Regan presumably in his own car? 17V - Dion in the 511P Craig Ellmers car. 18V - Ron presumably in his tank?
With the Kihikihi flavour I guess it returns the favour from last year when the likes of Mooney & Barron ran with a "K" on the door.
Roger.

I read through the line-up and my first thought was ' Trevor Mason's not in a team, has he broken his legs or something'.

Trevor's not there because: the rumour going around the Waikaraka Park Top deck faithfull is that he promised his wife to stop racing when he was 50. And as his 50th was apparently the sunday after the NZ Superstock GP, I can only conclude that's why He's not there!

Yes Trev turned 50 last weekend, hence the reason he wasnt going to be in the Alleycats at Napier either. Will be a cheap superstock if he decides to sell.
