Im not stupid there is no way i will be waiting at the end of a straight for a hot rod to smash me but the corners we are even. Yes the speed thing is hugh but if you use your head and block at the right place as Mike did last year you can have some good fun. Thinking back a few years ago now at the Nationals teams ,have a look at the exit pole near the gate ,a standard stock got rear ended over the top of the gate through the old pole ,fence, and into part of the grandstand . With a nice great hole in the block for a souvenir. |

Your safer racing your own standard stock where you feel comfortable and know your surroundings than somebody elses superstock.
What I think's dangerous is these guys who are 6th drivers!! Like hell i'd get in a random car during race night, and the first drive is a teams race.

i personally cant see what all the fuss is about, i put my hand up to do it (but wasnt good enough to be chosen) end of the day if someone wants to do it, & puts there hand up to do it, & they get hurt or worse then its there own fault. everytime you put ya helmet on things can happen wheather its a normal race or teams race...

Excluding non event in 2010 last time was 1996. Started Teams racing in 1997
