Surely some chicken wire or similar could be put up on the corners like palmy has, to catch the larger debri coming through? I wouldn't think it would cost too much either.

not sure if they have shifted controls but lights have been controled from race control balcony by clubrooms , well they were when i spent time in starters box and on infield as crash crew[/quote] the lights are controlled from the building near the Neilson St entry gate - not by the clubrooms..[/quote] as i said was not sure if they shifted them, as many many years ago b4 new clubrooms they were up there then when new clubrooms got done they went to balcony, which is a high traffic area, so if they back in old race control thats good |

The comment was passed on ,that by the time a competitor ,with a full head of steam has reached the top step of race control ,hes buggered ,and cools off heading back down thinking ,was the effort worth it .  |
