Not sure why everyone thinks the busters will be in the top 4 don't get me wrong the busters have a good team drivers with loads of teams experience except for elsworth and i hope they do well last year a lot of people were saying the wildcats would do well when they returned and although they didn't score much points they kept fighting rite to the end and that's going to be the same for the busters. I mean do you expect Dan Carter/Richie McCaw to do well when they come back from their sabbatical. I do wish the busters well and who knows I could be proved wrong and that I'll accept so good luck to the busters and to all teams participating

I mean do you expect Dan Carter/Richie McCaw to do well when they come back from their sabbatical. I do wish the busters well and who knows I could be proved wrong and that I'll accept so good luck to the busters and to all teams participating I think they have the ability to make the top 4, infact alot of teams do this year as looking at the line ups there are some bloody strong teams out there that will suprise people. There was a little too much pressure on the Wildcats last year? And with the last minute pull out of a vital car in their team they had to call on a Stockcar for who I would consider their top driver, Dale Robertson. They proved they could win in Auckland where they made the semis, all be it a few less teams but still a massive achievement. When Dan & Richie come back yes I do expect them to be at the top of their game. They are professionals and are paid to be at the top of their game from day 1. Whilst the Busters are not a professional outfit nor paid as such they treat the Busters branding with profession and the respect it deserves (im presuming here as im not apart of the team). The Busters have all Teams raced together along the years, minus Elsworth, and have some very experianced ones at that. Kyle is one of the best in the sport of teams racing and Kerry is the most capped driver in NZ (if memory serves me right). Last time Horse was in the famous orange colours he was a blocking menace and was unlucky to finish Keven Roberts off that alowed him to go onto win the semi for the Mustangs. Mark Decke has been around teams for years and always lays it on the line. Elsworth im sure has watched many races over the years and had alot of study nights with these guys and I bet if Rodney was to be used over the weekend then im sure we can easily expect him to do very very very well after his sabbatical. So from my judgement I can see very clearly why everyone thinks the Busters will make the top 4. Good luck to the Busters, good luck to all teams and welcome back GB but most of all GO THE WILDCATS!!!

Grandstand is sold out and F Embankment on the start / finish straight is almost sold out but a limited number of reserve seat tickets are available on G Embankment at the start of the Start finish straight. General Admission is also still available. Full details and prices at www.pnspeedway.co.nz Accommodation - I will probably have a few hotel rooms available if anyone is coming to Palmerston North and hasn't booked. So Im quite lucky then having Embankment F, Row F, seats 7 and 8 for both nights?? ;D ;D ;D ;D Can anyone tell me how 'deep' into turn one this might be? Two seats Ben - you fat old man - no wonder you needed a 2xl morph suit.

Cant get much better than Friday night, teams race after teams race after teams race. Dont need support classes on the friday when you are there for teams racing. The program works out great as is.

I agree, with the current amount of teams the current format works. maybe in the future if there are more teams you may need 2 qualifying nights?

Well not to mention that more then half of them being in the Rotorua Rebels for the last 2-3 years. So practically it's the previous years Rebels team with a new name.

Thanks folks I'm liking the banter bit and Leanne has a mush on her louder than a Chevy on the limiter when she gets going. So if you see a union flag and everyone around shaking their heads it's probably because Frank just hammered one of your boys up the wall. Hows we doing for a banter starter lol. 7 days and counting, do say hi if you see us and give us your views on who's the best out their and what to watch for. That bit has to be the same as the UK who owes payback who is always an entertainer and who gets a little too excited all priceless info for a fan. Hey if we dont find you at palmy please put on macgors what you thought of your weekend and how you would rate it out of Ten. my view is its always a ten awsum racing and awsum drivers .Go hard or go Home lol.

24 teams, qualifying over two nights. Tht would just be amaing! but a long way off lol A very VERY long way off ;D, as we only have 24 tracks and several of those are either bike or open wheen tracks only. We don''t have enough cars or drivers either, so while 16 maybe a mathmatical possibilty one day, I think that's about it.

All you would need is someone with a spare $6mil+ to buy some extra cars and to find 120 people crazy enough to have a drive. We are more than half way there with 13 teams entered this year. I'm sure we could find enough people here on Macgors to help make up the numbers! I think getting the cars would be the hard part.

If you ever did get the Dutch boys over and into it, especially the Dutch dirt racers im sure they could put a couple of teams together. They go absolutely mental for it over their and hell do they know how to party afterwards lol. If you have never had the pleasure of meeting them then you would be in for a treat. I don't know if it's the fuel fumes or just the countries that like Stockars but we all just seem to get on really well.
