If that is what he was put off for then you are dead right - pretty simple fix and an amateur mistake which quite possibly cost his team a place in the finals and ranks right up there with the wrong car taken to the nationals. hard to reconcile such mistakes from an experienced team

Commentators originally said it was for re-entering from the infield at the wrong point.
However, some people have mentioned that it was for a red light in the car. If that is the case as you said floyd, amateur mistake which has cost hi and his team BIG.

My picks. Bay Park and HB into finals. BP to win. Then Palmy and Nelson. Bay Park races Hawke's Bay in the semi, so there goes that theory  I'm picking a Wanganui vs Hawke's Bay final, and duly declare this to be the year of the Warriors! I would have to buy KP a cappuccino first for this to happen to he can read the race properly LOL poor tanker driver misread both his races |

Could have had tape on already and fallen off. very good point, which is why its best to wrap the tape around a couple of times as opposed to a single bit of tape. I've learnt that one the hard way! |

for those of us not in the know what is the problem with the camera lights anyway ? are they somehw a distraction for other drivers ?

The theory behind it all is that some drivers mistake the red lights for the actual lights which is a safety hazard more than anything. Its the same with people using red eye on their camera.

Just a question if the refs were being so vigilant lastnight on every little matter..y was the Auckland car I think 8a allowed to finish the race, several laps with a very damage roll cage? Then didnt return for eace 2..

Watching the stream I dont remember them actually going and checking the 8a car, obviously we all know why he couldnt return next race though.
