to eliminate rigging altogether the two palmy teams need to meet in the first race of their group to prevent a whitewash result latter on which could be conspired to get one of them through

inb4 all 'rigged' calls... definitely a stacked 'd group' though That's what can happen when your two perennial top teams both fail in the same year and drop into the unseeded 2/3rds of the field. Barry B Ha isn't that the truth Everyone knew it was a possibility though

I would like the Rebels to win I'm just doubt the top gear chassis is right for teams as they seem to get crippled easier or is this because the attacker knows where to hit them?. What makes you say that about the top gear chassis? They're pretty tough as far as I've seen Steiny is a warrior in his one and Lala is an animal, they are both good blockers and runners if anything if say they are a great all round chassis, interested to hear your reasoning

Brawlers Warriors Allstars Nelson
I think the race between Panthers and Mustangs will be brutal and if they are the first 2 teams to race will either team have enough time to fix them and have a complete team ready to race?.
I'm picking the race the two P teams meet will be the last race in their group that way they will know how many points they need to let the other team get to put the tigers out.

So, as explained above (and this will show it even more clearly), the numbers (the rankings) merely set the race order for Night 1. Ranks 1-4 are the 4 seeded teams from the previous year, so are pre-determined. Ranks 5-12 are randomly drawn, as above. Looking back through my stack of old programs, when there has been 12 teams, it's always been group a first, then b, c, followed by d with the same patterning repeating twice more for the 12 races. Is it being changed this year? I've done it by calling Group D the team that was 4th the year before through to Group A being headed by the team that finished 1st. That means they'd race D through to A. It's very likely, in the Palmy programme, that they invert my labels to Group A races 1st and so on. The race order would remain the same however, with last year's winner racing last on Night 1. Barry Brown

And looking at last year's program, the Panthers, who won it the year before, were in group D, so you are most likely correct.

I was also talking about this during the week with a mate. If you watch some of the video's from the past years, they seem to get cars stuck on the front of them or they end up stuck on others. Is the front design lower than others ? I don't have a problem with them and I like the rebels but they just don't seem to be very good block cars. Maybe they have to much grunt

I'm a little biased but I rate Steiny as one of the best blockers that the rebels have ever had... Seems to have been strong at the last few teams in his top gear.

Before things went pear shaped with the Rebels team a few years back and they split up..I regaurded Steiny in the top few blockers in the country..the last couple of years the group hasnt been soo strong but this years team looks very balanced so im hoping he fires for them..

Definitely nothing wrong with the Top Gear cars, I have seen Steiny bone out a couple and continue racing .. Possibly the fact that things went a bit pearshaped for the Rebels a while back and the change of drivers effected their outcome. The Rebels are definitely looking a lot stronger this year . All the best Rebels
