yeah you are probably right but he showed the youngsters there is still life in the ""old dog"" yet and he weathered that roll at the Aukland champs pretty well. Yes, saw Scotty at the Springs the next day - he was all good!! Speaking of “old dogs” Kerry podjursky 56v dished out what I think was easily the hit of the meeting, in the tier 2 race. The jag powered tank was flying - coming off the corners it was so impressive - seemed to just squat down and drive out hard! One of the Dykstra cars had a crack at him turn 1 and 2, I think 56v was leading at the time, but payback was swift and brutal . Dykstra got slammed up the wall down the back straight, held up it then rolled, and 56v seemed to hardly loose any speed In doing it. But didn’t that possibly lose him a place in the finals when he got tangled up in it?

Was a good roll, another legend in superstocks Kerry Podjursky, also a bit sad he doesn't teams race any more as well but the hits he has done over the years I can see why.

But what cost 56v time and places was 18p taking him to the wall the previous corner. The hit and roll was all done full noise, as you can See from Gregobros photos.

He did lose a lot of places on the red light unfortunately, he would have been an awesome addition to the finals and I hope its not his last appearance. One of the standouts from the meeting and he wasn't even in the final which says a lot. That has to be the fastest tank currently running and selfishly I hope it doesn't sell!!

I was only watching on the stream, but from memory they put him back in front of those cars. The commentators said he'd still lost a few meters but that's life. As discussed it's going to be impossible to space them all out to the correct distances

Since we are on topic with reds and moving. Have seen in team champs reds thrown as racing cars are boutique to pass block cars that are barely moving. If green would blow on by. But they have to stop and got moved behind the block car. That block car then managed to put then high into the fence. When in reality it shouldn't have been the case completely changing the rebels vs busters race last year. So in that case feel for 98M. Was the correct call made. I dont feel it was.

As discussed it's going to be impossible to space them all out to the correct distances They moved him back in front of the cars after the red to remove the stopped cars on the back straight, but he still lost about 10m out of it. On the 2nd red to remove the pile of tank on the back straight after Kerry disposed of it...he lost ground as about 4 cars went past him on the reds but they never moved him back.

18p Rangi Dykstra after his skirmish with 56v Kerry Podjursky, a bit ironic that the 2 guys with the big cheer with their arms in the air are actually staunch Palmy supporters - Jayden Ward and Darrel Wallace.

Great photo!! And the funny thing...... no 56v in sight!!!! He had thrown the haymaker and was gone. In fact he got to the other side of the track by the time 18p stopped rolling and the reds came on.

136b Maddie Wise didn't have much luck either early on. Neither did Jack Miers getting left front wheel damage at a vital point of the final. 81v Max Holloway had a great Championship in his 6th ever Superstock meeting after having raced Ministocks for 5 years. Max made it into the repercharge after competing in a 3 car run off. To finish in the top 48 out of 96 entries was a huge success for him and his crew. Adam Joblin and Scotty Miers. Scotty really impressed me with his driving, I can't remember many times I've seen him in a space frame instead of his mean Tank. He made me smile when he complained to the commentator that he really hoped there would be more red lights - so he could catch his breath. lol The first picture I took on Saturday. Many thanks to Ben and Chris for all they do.
