Theyre back Was quite surprised they used my footage of 66s Clint Hill's car from 2:54-3:00. Didn't know this video existed but anyway glad to see the Warriors back this year and the video shows what they're capable of

Pete - Dion Mooney will be driving the 53V car you've shown in your photo. He won the first race he drove in it on Friday night, then had to pull out when leading the second race with gearbox and power steering issues. As you will see from the pictures below the car has been stripped down and the issues rectified for the weekend. It's the Kuriger chassis Bob Smith took possession of in 1993, and was fully rebuilt last season for Morris Doyle. This season, it has been reliable and on the pace. In the meantime, there's a new Superstock chassis being built for Dion; it probably won't be completed by the end of this season, but it should be ready for 2018-19. That's definitely something to look forward to!

Here's the first sneak peek of the Warriors 2018 livery. 29V is the car of Clint Hill We've also been lent a Toyota Hilux Concept ute from Wanganui Toyota, with Warriors branding courtesy of Display Associates; you can check it out pitside on Saturday, or during the Grand Parade on Saturday night.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure I saw a white super on rails round wangas over the weekend That was probably Scooter McIntosh, who picked up three wins over the two nights in the 22V car. Scooter's car hasn't had a lot of track time this season, but the new car bugs he had last year have been ironed out, and the Nissan powered Heyburn chassis is as fast as any car out there.

Think the explanation is this car is the x Uhlenberg that was converted to Toyota v8 by Osborne. The x Hobbs/Osborne one went to 91b s Cavell in HB then was sold to rotoru and converted to a stockcar. Painted green. Then sold to Blenheim. Not sure where it is now Think that might explain confusion but happy to be corrected
