Interesting you say the Rees chassis don't take hit & keep going..Longs took plenty & was still going..it was more tyres & suspension etc that failed after an epic battle. Huge ups 2 both teams..best final for along time Its been said before and even by them... they make them so they bend in places instead of the driver taking the full impact of the hit. Yea it was all those other bits as well that slowed them but the Dare car took the biggest hit in turn 1, lap 1 and still carried on to win it.

From what you could see the Supersaloon final was good. The American was the only one flying around the high line. Why do they not put enough water on it ?? Final of the Teams was epic and an awesome final. Those Rees cars don't seem to take the hits and keep going as well as other chassis. Dont take the hits?? Think youll find flat tyres being the issue. Every single car drove on the trailer with minimal work

Think 41g thought 1nz was leading and tried stopping him? Probably wasn’t expecting 3nz to be leading with that amount of damage he had. I have that feeling too. Were 41g and 1nzp on the same lap as 3nzp who was just in front of them on the track? Or at the red light was 41g second, but a lap down???

For me Mitch vickory, Tarrant were awesome all weekend. The scrappers and HB surprised a few with their performances. In the final Jordan dare was unreal. The format needs some work. I feel for busters don’t lose a Race all weekend and get 5th doesn’t seem right. But I’m saying that I probably think they were the 5th best team in the weekend I could t see them beating the top four sides P,G,HB and S

two points i picked up over the weekend, on night 1 why was stratford relegated a position against the panthers which would of put the busters in & panthers out,2nd point they wet the track before every teams race on 2nd night except the panthers races what happened there, water truck broke down, never paid their water bill,or keep the track dry so there is not to much wheel spin

Yes I thought the same about the water. Would have been so the Panthers were in control. Also was weird that the bay won the toss so they should have been able to choose if they wanted to race against G or GB but Bruce jumped in and stopped Malcolm and said that B will race G. Every other coin toss over the weekend...winner gets to choose pole or outside, so B should have been able to choose in my opinion. What was the outcome about the welding wheel guards on ?? Legal or not...?

Theres a whole lot of grey areas that need to be addressed with this meeting, maybe the team managers new, who won the coin toss raced Gisborne, either way, would be good if the crowd, people keeping up to date on macgors and Facebook knew what was going on, the commentater had know idea. No communication

I imagine it would have been decided that if you won the toss then theoretically you won the run off so you finished 3rd and so race the 2nd placed Giants. But yes, it would have been good to inform the crowd of that before it was done as it did give the anit P brigade in the crowd something to moan about when Bruce jumped in haha

Huge ups 2 both teams..best final for along time I think maybe what Fastrota is eluding to is the fact the Rees chassis struggle after taking big hits. All 4 panther cars took huge hits and managed to keep going and do an effective job where as the Rees chassis take a big hit and it seems to wound them badly and impact their ability to stop other cars or keep running. And as Fastrota says, Rees himself has said in the past he builds the cars to crumble so that the driver takes less of the impact so I guess it's a compromise they are willing to make.

What was the outcome about the welding wheel guards on ?? Legal or not...? they weren't tossing decide poll, they were tossing to decide the run off. Win the toss win the run off. Why wouldn't welded wheel guards be legal?, This is a fair question as mal himself asked if it was legal and got no answer from the referee.. perhaps if macgor had been at the event he would have understood the context of your question

Also if it was just tyres, maybe they should get them from somewhere else as they have had a lot of flat tyres on those cars over the past couple of seasons

You don’t have to have wheel guards, in the old days the side rail went to the rear bumper, you had to lift the rear and drop the diff to change wheels, made the rear chassis very strong, but a pain to change wheels, If the side rail pops out you bend the rear bumper too easy.
