23 cars turned up. Format is split into two groups. Each group has two heats, drawn grid then reverse grid. Top 6 do pole shuffle. I assume 20 in 30 lap final (or however many left running by then) This is a change from entry and what was posted here. Changed at drivers briefing after pressure from drivers?

I guess was changed when changed to one night.
Larson and Pickens looked fastest in hot laps, naturally

Larson will be hard to beat. Whoever is off the front will be in the box seat on that track.

Anyone know if commentary on an FM broadcast at Palmy? Nothing on website or in program (which is crap btw) Palmy doesn't have a permanent FM system, but does hire one in when the likes of Malcolm Sines are there and he makes them!! I know Mal is there tonight so I'll see if I can find out what they're broadcasting on. Barry B

FM commentary broadcast on 88 apparently. Although could be 88.1. Try that too.

Jamie Larson really looks like he's got his car dialled in tonight. He pulled away on the start, then pulled away again on the restart. He won his heat by a country mile.
Though it's always a bit narrow here, there are definitely some passing lines. Track looks in good condition.

So you have two Superstock teams races, one teams in yellow, one team in green, and two teams in black. So who do they put up against each other on a night of largely open wheeler fans? That's right, the two black teams. Bruce has done a great job by getting the team cars back to normal race numbers. Now for the team bodies. The simpler you make things to understand, the more people will be interested.
