Give us your ideas or reaction to ideas raised. I doubt any of them will be implemented UNTILL I'm the Prime Minister but any real good ones will be made law when that happens, including this one...

LESS IS MORE when it comes to the Grand Parade. The first night in particular last year was just flippin ridiculous. I literally don't wanna rain on anyone's parade but Shezz it we can keep it at less (by quite a bit) than an hour that would be a real Grand Parade, not a grind of a parade.

How many points for each? If a team stops/rolls every car but the race winner which has happened what should their points tally be?

I’d say, winner should always score more points than others combined, similar to current system.
Points for stopping cars etc would be more used for separating ties and seeding into finals.

Teams will be 6 cars. races are 4 on 4 with one sub, and there is one reserve (wat the 6th driver is currently but with own car).

Reserve Driver. Once they replace someone the one replaced is out for that nights racing. Can revert back on night 2 if able to race.

Sub Driver. During a race a team may sub any of their cars currently in the race for that races "Sub", inheriting their place on track and lap count. Can only be used once & only on a red light. Subbed driver to take no further part in said race.

Agree with the first two however the third point I would only allow if a driver was taken out illegally. Eg, Driver A smokes Driver B across the grass rolling/damaging Driver B. Refs pull off Driver A for bad behaviour and Team B get the option to replace Driver B with their reserve car and they inherit Driver B’s position in the race. Punish the offender not the victim.
Also yes cut down that grand parade. I know it’s the big show and sponsors want their vehicles out there but do we need to see every vehicle of the enzed fleet and all the people in non team related fancy dress? Teams cars and minimal sponsors vehicles, crew can walk with the cars but keep all the fancy dress people out with the exception of an official mascot.

my ine gripe is with the spike trophy. seems to be bruces pick. i would love to see a peter barry warrior of the oval awarded to a driver that the hall of flamers pick.

The parade is awesome how it is It gives the drivers ,pit crew ,families and sponcers a reward for the sacrifice they have too make for the show to happen

Move Arena Manawatu closer to wherever I may happen to be living at the time.

And have pre-approved colour schemes for each team, each year, so we don't have so many black-based colour schemes; like Wanganui vs Panthers teams race the night of the NZ Sprintcar Champs. Black vs Black while the other teams race on the night Green vs Yellow. As a promotion that could grow by attracting in new spectating blood, speedway keeps shooting itself in the foot.

Stu Russell, Mal Sines and myself have a few things planned for scrutineering at the square to make it feel more like a prelude to the big show.
Dedicated interview segments for Legends time, Sponsors, Tech talk, Team Managers/Captains etc and also we will be running a wheel changing comp ( there will be head to head battles on 2 wheel frame setups ) where the overall winner of the day gets to go out on parade with the team of their choice.
