Is that a 2 night meeting for the NZ Midget champs 27/28 Feb with a rainout of 1st March? A relaxing of “restrictions” with the new promoter?

International Sprintcars are usually first up. Then International Midgets after that. But who knows.?? Informing the fans would be nice.

Not wanting to be negative on the FB post but all noise and no content... appreciate changeable time’s but any form of potential US or Australian deals for the Sprintcar or Midget International would help with engaging the punters......

They just released a new page, a complete calendar and a new website is due shortly. Search western springs 2020 on fb How the hell can they announce an international series when we aren't allowed tourists in the country??

For a much more detailed program try James Selwyn photos Facebook page. No mention of international sprintcars but on a better note the local racing looking pretty good with the nz Grand Prix, a north vs south meeting . Ok not all that was hoped for but remember race car spelled backwards is still race car. Oh and did I mention the return of Jamie McDonald. Go the 71

The Baypark schedule unsurprisingly has a fair number of meetings featuring midgets, notably over late Dec early Jan on rainout nights for Western Springs which could get interesting..... will also be interesting to see the number of teams with budgets big enough to run both Western Springs and Bay Park meetings with sponsorship money being so tight for anything at the moment.

7th Feb midgets at Palmy .. as this is a part of the SuperStocks teams meeting, and is usually a sellout, will there be any gate sales for those of us that just want to see the Open wheelers ?
