What time are they making the call today ? They're looking at 2pm again today, however that may not mean much looking at the forecast. Sunny at the moment and Stan is working on the track, but it's still in the lap of the Gods. |

They gotta go for it. If they don't and it doesn't rain they will be crucified. Too many spectators and competitors still in town for them not to try.
Perhaps if they get rained out half way thru they can have a 1pm start to finish night one (track dependent) and a 2 hour break after that. Then run the finals from 6ish? Those that have paid for night one get a rain pass for the arvo meet. Those that turn up for the arvo meet that didn't do night one pay $15. Then everyone gets turfed out and everyone pays for the finals.
Here's hoping today goes without a hitch and tomorrow is a formality. Thanx for trying Vegas.

Rain radar has it thats its about to get rain. And its a slow moving front. But nothing behind it. Has it started raining yet? Is it gonna miss?

According to livestream there’s heavy rain at the track now, just as all 133 cars were on infield after grand parade.
How disappointing for all involved, but keep those 🤞 for some action tonight.

So frustrating.. metservice was showing downpours during the afternoon / evening.. I know it's easy to say in hindsight but really the qualifying should have been run at lunchtime or even earlier today.
