Can't seem to locate much in the way of results or grid draws within the meeanee website. Will they be posted in the Championship info tab on the website ? If not can someone take a photo of the board / official list and post it here.

Plus 4 groups of carnage. And 4 of just speed. I feel like thats abput the worse thing they could do. Take the next 7 from every group. And the next 4 highest on points.

Programe suggests points tallies so the best I can do is take it from the points posted:-
15V Sturzaker - 73 pts 8A Peat - 71 pts 8N Paynter - 71 pts 172P Burmeister - 70 pts 212V Reeves-Smith - 70 pts 261B Anderson - 70 pts 69S Podjursky - 68 pts 41B Swift - 66 pts 186R Keijser - 66 pts 35B Milne - 66 pts 16V Alabaster - 64 pts 91S Wilson - 64 pts 128G McArthur - 64 pts 26V Mooney - 64 pts 38GM Oliver - 64 pts 89V Lockett - 64 pts 5B Penn - 63 pts 91R Coxhead - 63 pts 11K Ellis - 63 pts 84P Webb - 63 pts 93M Dunn - 63 pts 136C Sweeting - 61 pts 97P Rowlands - 60 pts 9W Jensen - 60 pts 61V Black - 60 pts 8H Henderson - 60 pts 17A Irvine - 60 pts 82P Winstanley - 60 pts 735R Orr - 60 pts
and about another 31 drivers to fill out the two grids - cut-off will be about 52/53 points I'm guessing meaning the likes of 229S Symes, 98V Linklater & 669P Tye may have a say in what happens.

As I understand it, all the points allocations were based on the group with the highest number of cars, so you would get 28 for winning a race, regardless of the size of your group.

Sturzaker was unlucky not to qualify directly. I'm guessing that the drivers will go into alternate repecharges based on points, i.e highest into R1, second highest into R2 and so on. Sorry I didn't see your message until this morning Roger; would have loved to catch up. I'm back home now as our driver was one of Hammond's victims, and although we were able to change the broken steering box and bent steering arm after Heat 2, there was also some rear end damage. At least Jason was able to drive onto the trailer! We left the track around midnight, immediately after the final heat, and got back to Sanson around 3am! Having read some of the comments on the other threads, I don't think I will be buying a VideoHub stream tonight; I will follow the racing on Facebook and here! It's great to see that the repecharges have a strong V presence, and hopefully Trazarn won't be on his own tonight. I also hope there's someone in the field who is prepared to have a go at 1NZ, 2NZ and 3NZ tonight, as they all had charmed runs last night.

I'd say if someone like Luke Miers is out of contention going into the 3rd race he'll be getting in some teams racing practice, he can definitely hit & block just as well as he runs As was mentioned in another thread the 1,2 & 3nz were all in groups that were races in all heats, the later groups were where the action happened & I'd suggest the guys from those heats are most prepared for the finals action

will there be a 2nd/3rd tier championship as well? there is nothing on the website to say what will happen to those that miss out on the top 30.

Am I looking in the wrong places or is it just hard to find info for finals night , ie grids for final ,grids for repecharges ,format for non qualifiers etc , I know a lot of work is involved in running big meetings ,but this sort of information shouldnt be too hard to put out there.

There is a 2nd tier championship for 30 cars - over 3 heats.
Tier 3 is a Best Pairs in 2 groups of 30 over 2 heats each. Final is for the top 15 pairs in one-off race.
There is also a 4th tier (presumably limited to 30) & consolation for everyone else. I guess it depends on cars remaining after last night.

5B Regan Penn looked to be very unlucky, rolling his right rear early in his first heat before winning both the remaing two heats rather easily. Still it only take for a drive to turn right to finish any car off!

I know there was a few glitches in the points that needed sorting ie 669P had points showing for 2 heats, ( other was a DNF) but the "total" didnt include the tally of both heats. So i guess they want to make sure they are right before releasing.

Will be interesting to hear why, long way to tow a car to be excluded over something as trivial as that
