Any particular remits you're interested in? We're only have way through the AGM of course.
The days of Superstock and/or Stockcar teams appearing in clashing/matching paint schemes should be over, with teams now having to lodge proposed colour schemes to SNZ by September 1st each year for approval for the upcoming season. That and the teams racing with their normal numbers mean we're finally going to look more professional and easy to follow for outsiders looking in. Hardcore fans say they've never had a problem with the colours, but I've always felt that was a short-sighted attitude by those not looking at ways of growing our spectator base.

I like that. That palmy vs Hawkes bay race was a shocker a few years ago.
3 day event? How'd that one go?

What about who's got championships for the next few years say from 2023 That's up for discussion tomorrow too. There was a long discussion on championship allocations today with the Board putting forward two new proposals, but they were not voted in so rotation will continue, for now at least. There will be more discussion on all of that tomorrow, with likely a further three years allocations released after that.

I hope it changes BarryB, black verses black teams races are hard to follow for me let alone my younger family.

Just seen Speedway New Zealand Facebook page had an update. Big changes that I picked out
No Over aggressive contact (straight lining) in Stockcars
No Outside flat tyres in Superstocks, Stockcars, Streetstocks

Team colours good, flat tyres rule good but from a spectator point of view a bit worried there will be less contact in Stockcars, what does over agressive mean, surely that's what it's all about?

Over aggressive contact o'dear a competitor has to make a decision whether to give his opposition a light tap as opposed to reasonably heavier hit or other wise come under the wrath of an official who has determined the severity of the hit from their side line vantage point.Iam sure they are passing synthetic drugs around at the SNZ AGM coffee breaks.

Presume the No over aggressive contact (straight lining) in Stockcars doesn't apply to teams racing or run offs?

You can still run flat tyres in teams racing by the way, just not in normal racing which is good, those chunks of dirt hurt lol.

Seems today there is a controversial change of lap scoring systems, plenty of drivers not happy about the costs that will be incurred

Details to be announced in a couple of weeks

Presume the No over aggressive contact (straight lining) in Stockcars doesn't apply to teams racing or run offs? Correct. ‘Straightlining’ allowed for team so should be for run-offs also (same rules)
