how can that be justified when 581p sat on the infield after a huge hit on nite 1, then came back on and scored points, against the busters I think. . Wasn't the 581P partially on the track and partially off the track? I did not see where 57v parked before rejoining. That may have made a difference. Barry B . Is he aloud to be hit if he partially on the track? If not then he should have same rules as being parked on infield, im a dare fan btw so not taking digs

Anyone know who’s cars the GB team used? From memory; 515GB = ex Benji Sneddon W240 winning Rees chassis with Asher Rees' 1NZ winning motor, owned by Pollock Cranes 555GB = owned by Team GB (don't really know anything else about it) 5GB = Palmy track car, former Peter Bengston 2nz car 410GB & 418GB = two William Humphries cars, one being his 2021/22 season chassis and the other being brand new. I think the brothers changed cars between the W240's and P/N Teams. Barry B 555gb is the ex Phil Ogle 282s I believe now owned by team GB

Travelling too Palmy now with all the lower speed restrictions ,should take longer ,but being a early bird ,very much the same ,i like the young bloke a Tihape on the grave yard shift he has a gsoh to us older gents on scooters . Thought the fans enjoyed all the cars ,crew alike on the grass area ,selling programs 5dollars was cheap but then not for some ,so you give a little and just watch the smiles as mum and her kids drift off into the crowd . Watching the parade it seemed to go on fore ever ,i guess the drinks bar did alright though ,you had to turn the hearing aid volume down ,the new sun shades and six months without a shave worked a treat ,theyve got a few more wrinkles and the hair is going grey ,but the chassis still in good shape we enjoyed our table thanks .. To me the first night ,the old excitement was not there ,i certainly miss Nelson the way they came out of the blocks and gave it there best ,,to much glamour and not enough hammer ,the criticism will follow .. Night two well so disappointing the weather was the factor on the night ,but we came to see teams racing the final ,but it wasnt to be the rain beat us ,we left thoroughly disappointed at the promoter and his promotion of the night . Good to see the EAGLES WON a shame a lot of us just could not hang around to watch it ,business is more demanding than to sit around ,and waist another day ..

I'd say it's the best machinery they've ever had, taken across all 5 cars. That 515GB certainly has some pace and FWJ is still an amazingly quick and talented pilot, but it was a little unreliable at different times of their 3 weekends in NZ, and there's probably still plenty of development left in the most recent of the Humphries creation too. Would love to see the same 5 drivers back in the same 5 cars in 12 months time. Sworder drove a different car at teams to what he did at the W240's too, as well as the Tesselaar brothers swapping chassis with each other, so only the two Wainmans stayed in the same car right through. Although even FWJ swapped into another ride for one race on Night 1 too, so the familiarity would really help them next year I think, right out of the pit gate. Barry B

After incidents involving the Sidechair and the weather on Sunday night i wonder if Bruce will reconsider what class runs next year on finals night. My opinion is the track gets way too rough for sidechair's. The big wheels are there when needed for wheel packing and also tend to clean the surface up some what knocking higher tops off on the corners.
