I have got a pipe chassis stockcar...last raced in Huntly 2 seasons ago as 26H..will be back out this season(had to get rid of ex first-if you think racing is expensive try getting rid of the ex)..from what I have been told it was built in Cambridge as an A grader..apparently it was one of the first cars to use an EA Falcon motor..car is awesome to drive..super strong and just so much fun...Car is low and wide ...will get some pics and post on here...if you live in Waikato and would like a look just yell out

Here is one from Nellie Irvine, an old Forest Lake car, possibly built in the late sixties, and maybe the first pipe chassis car. Nellie pit crewed on this car back in 1974 when he was a welding apprentice.

There are photos of more recent pipe cars on other threads, but here is one that has been pretty successful recently, the 14N of Dale Ewers. It must have done a fair few meetings around the country in the past few seasons.

Not 100% sure but is the 29m stockcar the old Campbell Gould A grade car from the Mount in the early to middle 90's that had the ford V8 in it as it looks very similar. It was quite a strong car from memory.

29m is the ex Campbell Gould car which he built with Jim Campbell in Blenheim about 17 years ago, It still runs the D series ford 6 in it. The car is going under a huge rebuild this off season and will be race again by me this seson if dad lets me. Anyone got any early photos of this car?

Re Number 40h,i seem to remeber driving something like this around the backroads of frankton one sat afternoon ,the owner at the time was rex martin .i remeber it because it had a tube chassis, coupe body and the brake an clutch on the same side of the steering shaft ???i think it was found in a paddock by rex martin.
