To stock car14A, Phil still has some photo's of his Epsom car, trying to tie him done is pretty hard as he is a busy man. He's usually at the yard every day. You might have better luck.

Kevin Jamieson and Neil McCoard 1989-2001. As far as I can establish Kevin had #14 registered at Waikaraka up to and including the 1994-95 season, there was no #14 registered for the 1995-96 season. Neil had 14A registered from the 1996-97 season to the 2000-01 season, the following season he registered to Rotorua. Neil raced out of Waikaraka from the late eighties using 1A and 31A, he didnt register in 1995-96 was this the new tank being built? In 1999-00 season Neil started with the Tank and purchased the Boote Hot Rod late 99/early 2000, last outing in the tank was as 73A at the 2000 Palmy Teams. The Tank was painted white at some stage in 99/00. 1988 - 1995 14A Kevin Jamieson (1995-1996 season, no #14A) 1996 - 2001 14A Neil McCoard (Tank 1996 - 2000) (Concoard 2000-2001) Then raced as 4R. 14A Kevin Jamieson 1993-94  14A Neil McCoard Tank 1996-97  14A Neil McCoard Tank 1997-98 and 1998-99   14A Neil McCoard Gordge-Chev Concoard 2000-2001    And as a matter of interest, Neil in the Tank as 73A at Palmy Teams 2000, this is after he had purchased and raced Concoard.  |

Johnakld and myself are still digging through the archives and have come up with a few more. Some of the photos are not the greatest quality, but are better than none at all, and there is a bit of a guess on identity of a couple of drivers. Help needed! 14 Alan Naylor, Epsom Showgrounds 1957-58 season.  Another of 14 Laurie Brunt in 1958-59 at Epsom. (Same car as above)  A few of 14A Tony Howe, all from Waikaraka in 1970-71.    One that I think is Dave Henderson around 1974??  And this is difficult as there is no programme listing, (I think Ian Pettit,) all taken in 1976/77 and 1977/78 (Maybe Roger35A can help?) Thanks Roger, identified as Dave Henderson, his last year as 14A must have been 1977/78. So, probably: 1972/73 to 1977/78 Dave Henderson.     The search continues....................... |

Yes the 14a Car with Waikumete Motors on it was Dave Henderson he actually owned the Service Station as we used to deal with him for many years. So where is the ex Kevin Jamieson car? Wasnt it a genuine Kruiger? This car was Jared grays first superstock. Is now in chch. Boris got her from Daryl Manson (74r) in about 2002 who had put a Toyota v8 in. Last I heard of the car Hepi Paul had it. Still superstock with Jag 6 power. (The shaguar) raced as 91c i think. |
