When were you born and when did you start going to Speedway?
I was born in 1974 and did not get into Speedway until 1995. I must have been a slow learner, now I do 50+ meetings a season to make up for it. Done 557 meeting to date since 1995

Was born in August 1984 and first meeting was opening meeting of Waikaraka Park 1984 Stockcars has been my life since birth. I remember my parents telling me stories from my young days such as... My mum used to bottle feed me when I was real young, but when the cars were on the track there was nothing but attention to the track.. Them waking up in the night to find I had tipped out all the potplants all over the couch and racing my matchbox cars all through it all. Used to mow lawns down my street every Saturday so I could attend speedway growing up. Go to all meetings I can every season and do around 30-50 meetings a season, love it and wouldnt have it any other way

Born 1959 First meeting; Forrest Lake 1969. Will never forget the stockcar with lever steering and him having a shot at Kevin Free and missing and burying himself in the wooden wall. I think (bad memory) Kevin Bates was their in a Monaro as well.

Born in 1955
I have vague memories of attending speedway at Palmerston North before the advent of stockcars, but certainly became a regular attendee after Ray New introduced stockcar racing. Those were the days when, as WiseOwl would say men were men, and drums were an essential part of the action! Bring back the drums!!
