Defintely not a secret, now that the project is going ahead full steam I will be putting up a weekly report with photo's on the Kihikihi Website each Friday. In the meantime here are some photo's as of 7pm tonight. Plenty of the big machinery from McPherson Contractors sitting in the pits so no doubt some big progress will be made this week.

Great shots Greg M, thanks for the update.
Is part of the change geared towards increaseing the banking in the corners of the race track, or is it all to do with the increaseing the banking of the spectator area?
Thanks again for the shots, great to see all the work thats going on behind the scenes.

As Colin said both are being done. Plus increasing the height of the safety fence, putting in the Bike Track, finishing off the Control Tower.

How far is the pole line being lowered? If it works as well as Gisborne, the lap times could drop by as much as 2 seconds a lap.

Thanks Observer.
I will have the next lot of progress photo's up either tomorrow night or Saturday.
The weather has continued to be kind to the club which a big help. The town bend section of the embankment has now been completed and the newly sewn grass is beginning to surface. The contractors are now focusing on using the excess dirt from the infield to reshape the spectator straight which has had the opposite problem of town bend of not enough slope.
On the club side of things progress has focused on improving the drainage underneath the track to avoid the track rutting up.
