We're all ready seddy to go. Really looking Ford to a great weekend on the farm and at the track. Please keep those weather reports coming. This pic was taken last night, just a quick dyno run & we're set. I'd like to see some pics of the other cars, in any class, that are going to be there too if that's possible. Only 3.5 more sleeps...

I think the weathers gods as children were likely the type that pulled the legs off spiders - as they are certainly messing my mind up somewhat. Long range weather forecasts have been changing daily. It's now looking a bit shakier! Rain, drizzle most of the week left with heavier rain Friday night. Saturday has a mix of sun, clouds with a couple of showers. Winds from the NE at 12 km/h and a nice high of 17 °C. Overnight Drizzle / Rain. SUNDAY (daytime) has periods of rain predicted and cooler with a high of 15 °C. Sunday evening is clear.Kevin Moore Super Saloon also hoping to be allowed out to play (as in, by his wife) at Kihikihi - weather permitting the meeting is certainly attracting the attention of a few 'noteables'.

Track is now rolled hard and flat , and looking mint , well done to all involved , and any rain will not effect it . We just need fine between 10 and 4 on Sunday . Not to much to ask for is it . See you all there . Cheers 77k

hi Lawrie.found a butter box inter cab and chassie.and two thames traders today.the man is open to offers If you know anyone.Grub Hope its not the same sort of "finding" that saw chequebook put away. Great photos goslidways - any footage of the dyno, and any clue on the numbers the beast will be putting out. Be interesting to see what they compare to the Toyota that was dynoed in the multivalve test

Yeah I took some video, but I haven't finished reading the instruction book to my new camera yet - so I don't know how to play it or upload it at the moment. As far as the numbers of the beast, um.. it was all in kilo thingys and I only understand horsepower, so sorry, I'm no help there either, the Larson Ford has got grunt.

If you multiply kw's X 1.3410 the answer will be in hp. eg. 210 kw's x 1.3410 = 281.61 hp. But we all know it's torque that moves a car from A to B anyway.

The weather seems to be changing here in the north. The wind is now N.W NOT N.E as it was. So now the rain has stopped and big pockets of Blue Sky are appearing. As the Low goes down the west coast the same changes will take place to the lower North Island. Looking good for Sunday as long as the next weather system doesn't arrive early.

Thats great news Maaca. The 15 tonne roller that was brought in from Porter Hire seems to have done the job needed, amazing work by Dobbs and Girl Friday given what the track looked like last weekend! Any additional rain between now and Sunday will just drain away so all we need is for the Sun to come out at 12pm Sunday. Should be drivey and fast. Possibly the first time ever having a 406 under the bonnet may be an advantage on Kihikihi - watch out Murray these Supers will be quick.
