Not that much of a teaser. Very little passing.
With the amount of traffic about to unleash on Huntly, I will watch with interest.
Hopefully all grid draws and finishing positions will be given. From there we can see who's picks are best.

Just as long as he gets lost on the track Barry, then we might stand some chance! Good to see the cousins making the trip with the car, was touch and go for a while there, hope Burs is ok to drive it.

I'd be disappointed, considering some clubs - when things go wrong - use the excuse all of their staff are volunteers, if some of those volunteers spent too much time and effort catering to off-tack patrons at the detriment on those on-track. Other than that, bring it!!!!!!!

I'm just hoping night 1 finishes before midnight! I don't see why we need to sit through a smorgasbord of Ministock and Production Saloon races. The current schedule per the Huntly website is as follows: - Super Saloon Group 1 (4 races) - Super Saloon Group 2 (4 races) - Super Saloon Group 3 (4 races) - Ministock Group 1 (4 races) - Ministock Group 2 (4 races) - Production Saloons (4 races) - Sidecars (4 races) I would have thought the way to run the meeting is as follows (in no particular order): - Super Saloon Group 1 (4 races) - Super Saloon Group 2 (4 races) - Super Saloon Group 3 (4 races) - Ministocks (3 races) - Production Saloons (3 races) - Sidecars Thats 18 races plus Sidecars. If Productions race fastest to the rear then thats enough to provide value for money while finishing at a decent hour. It would also whet the appetite for the impending demolition derby on night two Don't get me wrong folks, I'm looking forward to the meeting. I simply believe there is a better way of doing things.

To be honest who wants to go to a NZ title and watch 8 races of ministocks? ? Not me thats for sure. I thought they may have run one group on the friday and the other group on the sat??? That would be more than enough for the average super fan

Barry this will not happen at the detriment of the meeting or track, it will happen if there is sufficent time to make it happen, and i am by no way running around trying to orginise this at the last moment, as i have spent the 1st half of this week assisting at track and will be there early both days, i think all to often in alot of things nowdays, not just speedway , we can get stuck in the old ways and not take things on that can some times be simple

I simply believe there is a better way of doing things. the reason for this is to give groups enough turn around time between heats, and also to give time to get water on track between groups , no one denies that the classes are not the favourite amongst alot out there but talk to alot of drivers out there and they like the ministocks as they run all over the track and help cut it up . oh and i would love to run fastest to the rear but unless all drivers agreed to this it will not happen as they had a no points night last week ,

I thort Percy was more than fair!
Budget / minor classes shud have a minimal or non existant place at a premier title. A meet can become very stop start if u run the lesser classes. I agree they are required, but not on those nights.
Tracks that run these meets shud be packing a support programme that is worthy of the main show!
