So with the top 3 to go through, and 1 driver on 67 points followed by 2 drivers tied on 65 points we need a run-off. So it was announced to the crowd. Barry B I was waiting for you to comment on this haha think they have been sampling the local Taranaki products. The part that gets to me the most is the long gaps during the racing with no comments at all. Also well done the Black caps. I'm waiting it on plus 1. Thanks for ruining that for me.

If the second night is anything like the last NZ stock car champs held at Stratford should be a cracker. Very big shoes to fill as rates as one of the best national stock car or super stocks champs I.ve been too. The previous one nick vallance and the guy from Blenheim I think…name escapes me but was driving the chassis without opening rear wheel guard absolutely stirred it up in the non championship tiers. A bit more expense in machinery nowadays but sure stock car guys won’t disappoint re action. No bigger stage with 200 cars……and reprisals come in this evening or likely never happen… you may never be in the same group at a national event again

I think I know who I will listen to re points I don't have access to relegation, penalties or adjustments but as they crossed the line thus far no run-offs through 2 groups Hopefully the announcers click a 2-way tie for 2nd does not require a run-off to determine a top 3

How many points for a win Percy? 25 car fields? Barry B Am using 30 points for a heat win Should not make any difference for a top 3 as a DNF or DNS will result in a driver not qualifying They're using 25 points to win, but you're right, it'll make no difference to who makes the finals and who doesn't. I've txt'd them but whether they choose to use the information is up to them. They have acknowledged the txt but not the actual content of it. Barry B Thanks for tuning in Barry..... They obviously went straight to the bottom of the txt and skipped the first bit about not having 2 car run-offs for 2nd place when you're looking for the top 3. Can't do much more. Barry B

He finished 12th in race one, amended from last on live laps. This would get Gaskin another 8 points (initially classified as 20th) which would take him to 73 points. Wright would lose a point having finished 15th which would also put him on 73. So it would be a run-off would it not?
