Anyone watching part 2 of the stream yet? Doesn't seem to working down here on the west coast ATM lol No, I don't think it has started yet. According to live laps the Overseas drivers are out there practising, so that'd still be included in Part 1 so they're running a little late already. They'll need a bot of a break so the guys who qualified in the final couple of groups are hindered to those who had their send race and hour or more ago. Barry B

The MyLaps sheets show 10R with 13th and 6th places in his two heats and likewise 1NZ with 9th and 4ths placings in those same races. There must have been a relegation and/or disqualification or two for 1NZ to miss out in this particular instance. Unless of course he suffered damage and forfeited his spot.

They have been grading & rolling the track since part 1 finished. Racing has been good. Red lights thrown either too late or too quickly. But of course damed if they do and darned if they don't! Having it all on 1 day appeared to result in s bigger crowd this avo than for the usual night 1. Good not having to leave the venue and come back in.

If you look at the entire group you'll find 5w, 57v, 46b and 87g all outscored 1nz based on the live laps results 1nz tied 144g for 5th, one point behind 87g in 4th. Whilst 10r was 7th he was a long way from qualifying With the pre-qualified cars and overseas drivers, qualifying spots were at a premium!

Unofficial Points going into the last heat - Sadly I don't have the grid draws. 9G 55pts 56V 52pts 127G 46pts 52V 45pts 95N 43pts 10G 39pts 26V 39pts 555GB 39pts 5GB 35pts 3NZ 31pts 587GB 30pts 5W 27pts 88P 26pts 581P 25pts 4K 23pts 118R 23pts 23R 22pts 34P 22pts 5G 20pts 235G 18pts 515GB 17pts 46B 15pts 526GB 15pts 14P 9pts 97A 7pts 46W 5pts
Four Wanganui cars in the top ten, surely they can manufacture an Ocean View overall victory amongst themselves. If not then they must be at very long odds to do any good in the Teams Champs!

Then 56v on 48 pts, 127g third on about 42 or 43 points. 88p is 6th on points after his transmitter failing in neat 2. Barry B

Unofficial, as they crossed the line 9G -80pts 56V -80pts 57V -75pts 127G -70pts 10G -66pts 26V -65pts 95N -57pts 5GB -56pts 587GB -52pts 88P -51pts 5W -46pts 34P -39pts 555GB -39pts 5G -38pts 23R 515GB 14P 3NZ 581P 4K 118R 46W 235G 46B 526GB 97A There's something funny with those points Higgins. Three wins only equal 78 points. 80 points is impossible. Your placings are right, but with less points and no run-offs. It was certainly a quiet one. Barry B
