You're right Barry. Silly me was using an old spreadsheet set up for a thirty car field and had not adjusted the heat three and two points columns back from 30 to 26. Will adjust in previous post shortly. 88P must have finished one place ahead of 56V in the race his transmitter failed, something that the MyLaps sheets do not reflect thus explains the one point difference between the 9g and 56V cars that shows in my calculation sheets!

Barry B Speedway Garage will be the place of worship today. I tell you one thing; when the Warriors announce their team on Tuesday at 7pm, there will have been lots of competition for places. That's not a situation Wanganui is used to.

Was a good watch. Hopefully both invited drivers will make it over here for September’s BriSCA World Final.

Huge congratulations to Hamilton he builds his car..and has been close to winning big titles in the past only to be taken out. And how good is it to see the new generation coming through in Wanganui. The are building a fantastic group of drivers who will become a force in the near future.

And Max Holloway won the third tier. With qualifying being so cut throat this year, every tier was stacked with talent.
I see the eventual winner, 9g, topped his qualifying group from the worst of all grid draws [according to some], the two middle grids, 12 and 13. And i think his finals grid, from memory, was rear, middle, front? I stand to be corrected on that. I didn't write them down at home.

Well done he come through the otherside both times unscathed He was very lucky to have an empty grid next to him in race 1 , he also did get caught in it race 2 and lost alot of ground but managed to recover in the end There can only be 1 winner, Many others not so lucky and fell victim to the midpack sandwich with damage resulting in the title hopes gone

I don't think his success on the night can be attributed to being "very lucky" in one race.

He done the job and qualifyifyed. And quite sucessfully pulled off a great championship win in the 3 heat finals

The cream rises to the top is a silly saying really
The guys that qualify on the night will always be considered cream.. yet 2 weeks ago it was completely different bunch of cream And looking on the entry list most drivers could be considered the cream so it doesnt really mean much just saying that the cream will rise to the top

So the cream rising to the top in this context would be the top tier cars separating from the mid and bottom pack cars.

Well out of 48 stockcars in Chch for the Canty Champs over the weekend, only 5 were capable of winning it..
Its not cream, it's just the way it is..

Think I heard the commentary team say that only 8 drivers have qualified for all 3 major titles so far this season ... so I guess u can class 8 drivers as the cream
