Sorry Mak I don't know the answer to either question. I think that was his 1st time in the Superstock so would be very surprised if he's teams racing. Im sure Rick will be able to fill us in on his background. Just good to have another Superstock carrying the mighty K!! Thanks for the update Greg I agree mate another Superstock carrying the "K" can only be good.Another question mate is Grant Mytton running both superstocks this year ???Will the 5th driver for the Kings use Grants spare car Cheers The 28K-99R car is for the teams, the original 28K that Gordge has just rebuilt is for individual racing. Two very impressive cars!!

MURRAY, Unfortinatly as you and i both know, you can please some of the driver's some of the time, and not all the driver's all of the time.Thumb's up to Kihikihi and there soon to be speed bowl, the weekend's racing was what i'd say a month to early that's all ,it needed more water and working the surface then time to settle before racing was even programed, then we may have seen less canyons but hay it;s the first week end on the track.Good on you Neil head save it for another day, they can treat there chev's to those condition's but us FORD boy's have more ball's

And 21h spins 46a and nothing happens. 69m should be 3rd GP today "Teflon" Steve Williams once again escapes penalty for driving like an idiot, its not the first time and it definately wont be the last. Why he continues to escape sanction when others dont is a mystery, especially given the frequency of incidents that he finds himself a part of. The contact between Williams and 46a was as a direct result of the track conditions, 46a baulking and bouncing as he hits the rough entering turn one and two very intense flag chasers! This racer doesn't have the resources, the workshop or the skills to continally put myself and machine at risk, to the degree required at the GP - so I hang back and focus on surviving, which I did, unlike many! There may some officials who may hesitate to 'ping' Williams for a variety of reasons, BUT frankly, to say he continually escapes sanction is rediculous to the extreme as there are many more officials, competitors and macgor posters who think it cool to focus on Williams and give him unfair attention. Certainly a good reason for a few to achieve little and contribute lessis the lack of attention and getting away with more! The Red and Yellow Caps were hot on the job at Kihikihi, despite my best efforts at hiding my indiscretion, having to turn my side mirror as it was (in their opinion) extending outside my body line a centimetre or two? No weighting, to carb, engine, fuel checks, before or after races, wheels with alloy centres abound and all sorts of other tricks ... But they did get my mirror! ;D "Just enforcing the rule book", I'm told BUT if they applied the same flawed logic to my tyres (and every other competitor, nobody would have raced ... Tyes to extend NO MORE than 175mm beyond body line (I think) Question is, which part of the original body line, or is it, any part (as applied to my mirror)?

.... Good on you Neil head save it for another day, they can treat there chev's to those condition's but us FORD boy's have more ball's Neil has a magnificent car and I guess his decision, which I certainly respect, to trailer it and not participate, reflects his respect for it and the saloon class. Muzza, I did notice three mustangs having to be pushed, dragged back to the pits after the final! ;D ;D ;D

A big thanks to both Huntly and Kihikihi tracks for what turned out to be a mixed weekends racing.
As everyone here on this board is entitled to their opinion here is my 2 cents worth.
To the drivers who wheel packed for Huntly a big thumbs up. We got incredibly dirty and spent time and fuel trying to get a wet track to a raceable surface for a lot of other drivers who didn't seem to give a toss! If everyone had gotten off their collective backsides and helped there would have been less incidents. To all the rest of you who didn't make the effort a big thumbs down!!!!!
Due to Steve coming out on Phil on the back straight and a flat tyre making for 2dnfs in the heats to come 2nd in the champs was in my opinion a darn good result.
Kihikihi has made a huge effort to change their track for the better and it is a shame that the track was rough but hey, everyone was driving on the same surface. I expected the Mount cars to shine, because they are used to a rough track. It was one of the reasons we did not reregister there again this season.
As for the incident with Mz Wymer, we have watched the video over and over and people will say what they think they saw, but it seems odd that in the 2 previous heats when the track was at its roughest, we did not "pop" any tyres. She was deemed the cause of the incident and justifiable put to the rear of the field.

Thank you Mrsttttt. We were sitting right in front of the incident and watched her turn Phil. We as a group of 15+ all agreed she should have been sent off as she had had outside assistants and was deemed the cause of it.
Shame about your weekend but hope things improve from here on in.

... 2dnfs in the heats to come 2nd in the champs was in my opinion a d**n good result. Mrs TTTTTTT, in my experience usually overstates her thoughts, BUT this has to be the understatement of the year to date ... "a d**n good result"! An absolutely incredible result, goes part way to describe Phil and teams achievements, saloon setup and driving skills.

Yes Murray that was true about the 3 FORDS but i did manage to find out why two of them died and coasted to the in field, Rossco's pet spider's had been thrown from there web's and ended up in the carb thus blocking the jet's lol.

to all you people that "ALWAYS" dog baypark track conditions.
maybe now you might think before you open you mouths and winge and b***h about it........ we dont want to hear it over and over again.i have seen alot of tracks worse than that and kihikihi takes the cake. SNZ should of called the meeting of for safety reasons there will be alot of breakages happining to all saloons that entered kihikihi gp in the near future, those poor cars got a real hidding, and as for the drivers,i bet they are paying for it today, back at work feeling like they have been hit by a bus..

hahaha its comments like this that really do showcase the typical baypark/willie supporter ...... is that the best you got??? comparing an 8 yr old prepped track/surface (BP) to a 1 month (KK) track/surface....get a grip.........
get a grip urself!!! i suport all speedway tracks egg,im actualy based a long way from baypark but travel all around the country to watch alot of racing.kihikihi has been around for decades ,and i have seen it many times over the years looking like a motorcross track. pull your head out of your butt and think before you type

I think you will find that the KK track was like it was due to them running 2 meetings in 2 days on a brand new surface. In hindsight it probably wasn't a good idea. And knowing KK they will learn from it.

The track was rough after about the fouth race of the first day, I think it was a waste of money to bank the track mid season and dont think it will come right this season.
