To Sam's family and friends: I have just returned from Baypark - thanks for sharing more of Sam to those of us who only knew her in a limited way. I have now seen how Sam connected and touched a huge and varied community of people and I'm sure there were plenty more who were unable to attend. While there will be tears of what we miss; there is also happiness about how our lives have been enriched - and in that, Sam lives on. Thank you. David Steel

What an awesome turnout today to farewell a very loved young girl, had great speaches by heaps of close friends and family also some songs too. Great weather for the service and was awesome to see how the Casket looked all painted up like her Ministock, also was great to see the victory lap afterwards.
Thankyou to everyone who made it such a special day, i got to know alot more about her as Sam Pitman's Dad (cant think of name) said.
Cheers Zach & Helen

How lucky I am to have known someone who was so hard to say goodbye to....
A beautiful service for a beautiful girl.

To the Mouat family and friends our heartfelt condolences. There are no words that can in any way help when you have had such a tragic loss. The Speedway fraternity will all pull together and support you all over the next years and in amongst the sadness there will surely be some great times to remember.
It is amazing the posts on this thread, and a tribute to a beautiful girl.
We did not know Samantha personally, but she has a place in our hearts.
