Ian used to be in the rebels etc, raced as 68r i think? I remember one year at auckland teams he got fired off the end , landed backwards on top of the wall, bending the fence in the process. And he was in the rebels in p/nth 02 when darcy went for a wild ride against welly

Previous ride went to Paul Dowell in Nelson with Chev V8, then Palmy with Craig Humphries and Nissan.

Pretty sure that Ian's old car is the one that Craig Humphries has now but stand to be corrected.
Ian is contracting to Rotorua and his number will be 87R.

I beleive Geoff James's car has been sold to someone in the south island. Greymouth people have been on a spending spree with the 4w stockcar and 31p Gary Davis car going there.

Great news 66 R back on the track next year. Can anyone give a brief background on Ian Elsworth? Thanks think hes had 2 agrade stockcars oops superstocks. theres the westbury car he raced for the rebels in which went to paul dowell(nelson) then craig humpries. He also had another car it looked like an early shane penn type car(wish i had some pics).I think he teams raced in this car also but for the bay park bulldogs at palmy. All rotorua registered cars which included pat westbury, joe faram and jeff mohi driving shane comers old gordge.I think this was the year before the baypark busters came back on the scene unsure of year.He was a club champ 1 year aswell??
