Is it fact that all referees are from palmy or just speculation?

For example when Brett Nichols got relagated for been on the grass.Shane Penn did the same thing a few races before and nothing happened. I believe that the desion was made so Nelson would make it to the final. Because if they did it would have been a challange for the Panthers.

The head referee for as many years as I can remember has been Rod McNaughton from Rotorua. Next conspiracy theory?

I also believe it is fact that Rees has a computer chip that changes the direction of some of the windmills to give him a tail wind and the opposition a headwind.

It's almost a full year since 'that' race and it's come up again? Agree with the ref's decision or not, it's DONE. What can possibly be gained by bringing it up AGAIN? Argh!!!!!!

Unless you ignore the year prior when (from memory) Hemi was relegated for (again from memory) a grass-cutting incident. And, just in case you think I'm just another one-eyed Panthers supporter superstocknut, I'm far from it; I'm a one-eyed Tigers supporter.

im guessing it there track, so they know how to race best on it...now if the teams champs were in nelson every year then im guessing the tigers will be hard to beat.....end of the day i reckon it been pretty fair to all the teams that i have seen race there in the past....BRING ON THE TEAMS CHAMPS...leave the armchair racing at home,

So am i. Tigers all the way. But what about shane penn he did the same thing and nothing happened. Because it could have cost the a place in the final.

Potentially, the best thing in this case that could be done to help the sport look better is to stop publicly suggesting that PN refs are biased or that the Panthers get hugely beneficial treatment at Teams Champs.

If you're going to respond to a post about this topic, respond to ALL the post instead of being selective. I'd be interested to get your take on the previously-mentioned Hemi relegation....because it negates your argument just a little.

I thought BarryB was doing the education but it seems penman is having a crack lol. Rod McNaughton isn't based at any track , just covers some of the big meetings.
Most Ref calls at Palmy are correct , the problem is the Panthers are just so good at what they do. Any team that beats them has to be better again.
I know you are new to this board but you probably need to do more reading than posting for a wee while.

nelson got relegated as a protest was filed by opposition
if was palmy and protest was done i dare say it would of been same outcome
i have seen what appear to be some dodgy stuff but do believe the officiating has got better and fairer over the past cpl of yrs
was dissappointed at stock teamds when some cars were removed on reds for moving while others werent though, when were obviously seen to have moved by crowd and officiating flagmen etc need consistency from year to year, race to race and for club to club huh
