Im in aussie, and only have telstra wireless broadband, and its not cheap, so wondering how much data id need ? Thanks ;D Tried doing a bit research for you and it looks like when I have watched this meeting previously I've used 2.0 to 2.5 gb. per night. I vaguely remember doing a calculation that suggested 0.5 gigabyte per hour. If they are planning a better stream then the data used will rise.

As above this is the first year for videohub streaming, but I have watched the speedbox stream many times, I can safely say you won't be disappointed with the racing.

This is not Speedbox or the full TV quality production like Speedbox produced.
What you will see is what is been shown on the Big Screen at the track. This will include adverts and you may find the track commentator talking about something different than what is showing on the Big Screen because he is looking out his window at the action and not commentating to the screen. Speedbox had their own separate commentator.
With a bit of luck you will see some great replays!

And with all that you also get to pay more than u did for speedbox . ? And if we had paid what Speedbox was really worth, it would have been plenty more, and as such maybe speedbox would be still around. We paid less, got spoilt, complained our asses off, cause that what we do, and speedbox went away. Now we have someone else doing what they can to provide us with the best service they can at a pretty darn good price point, and STILL people pregnant dog. If you think it is too much to pay, set up your own production company, get out there and do it, at YOUR prices. I say to all those that want to complain about the prices and service.... Sit down and shut up, before we lose ANOTHER company that is prepared to let those of us on the other side of the world watch the most awesome show on dirt. Tired of the put downs. Just wanna watch racing Aaron Gullery Peoria USA

Completely agree with Aarons comments, plus....., the guy from Video Hub is the same guy that's been doing the video stuff for quite a number of years now at Palmy & has gained a bit of a reputation for having the camera pointed in the right direction, very rarely misses what's going on. BL

I only have one request (as Ill be paying for the stream now), and that is that the adverts are either a lot more discreet,i.e not half the bottom of the screen, or put them on in between races. If people are going to be paying nearly the same price as being there then at least let them see as much as possible without being bombarded by ads.

The promotion would run the big screen regardless of whether there was a live stream or not. So the live stream was added as another revenue stream with I would think little additional expense purly to make money. It was not added "to provide us with the best service possible". As for complaining about prices and service level - do you honestly believe that as a customer/client you have no right to comment if the product or service you are paying for is not value for your money? Yes, we have the choice and we do not have to purchase the product. But without both negative and positive feedback on any product there would not be development. This streaming is just the same as the gate prices, it will continue to increase in price every year until the punters vote with their feet. The stadium does not sell out anymore like it did in years past, and that is simply due to price. Look at all the comments that have been posted re the cost of the stream preventing possible customers from investing - something to think about.

I have read em all. Good, bad and ugly. and I agree. This is not the best possible service I could get for my money... ITS THE ONLY possible service I can get. Can their be improvement? Hell yes. Negative comments do nothing. Constructive critisism does. I get tired of the slanging matchs going on here about the streams Simple. This is the best we have. is there things I don't like about the stream, hell yes. Do I understand what it takes to make this available to us the paying customer. NOPE. But I sure know one thing. I am screwed without it, unless someone wants to sponsor me $3500 to fly to NZ to veiw the champs live. Till then I will be GRATEFULL that someone has made them available to me and a decent price and fair quality. As for my statements being rubbish??? I think not Mr? Oh sorry no name. I stand by what I said and will do so again. Be glad we have this service and if it is not up to your standard....Do better yourself. I will repeat this Sit down and shut up, before we lose ANOTHER company that is prepared to let those of us on the other side of the world watch the most awesome show on dirt. AJ Gullery Peoria USA

There are valid points on both sides of this debate.
I have no desire to waste my time deleting aspects of posts which constitute personal attacks. If I was to do that to the post above mine about half of it would remain.

It ain't going to rain. The stream is up and playing action from the Stockcar teams right now. A good chance to test your set up.
