One thing that would greatly improve the Teams Champs would be super gluing people to their seats so that when action happens on the track in front of them they don't jump up and continue to stand in the way of the poor people sitting behind them, who then have a grand view of their backsides and absolutely nothing of the track. This is particularly prevalent in the grandstand where the front rows all leap to their feet which causes a chain reaction as those behind them can't see and they stand up in an attempt to view the track and it goes on ad nauseum. Perhaps before leaping to your feet consider the rows of people behind you who have paid just as much as you have to see the action and don't do it. It would certainly make the Teams Champs a lot more enjoyable for quite a large number of people and everyone would get a good view and their money's worth.

Just get your drink bottle and squirt a puddle of water or other satisfying stuff on there seats ,they certainly dont enjoy having a wet rrse for the rest of the night i can assure you ,especially the woman ,but dont blink an eye lid when the face turns around to see the results ..

I agree with keeping alcohol in restricted areas. In my view the event has gotten continuously worse since they started selling alcohol in the stand. There seem to be less families every year and I don't know if theres less atmosphere or I've been going that long I'm immune. We left after the 8th race because of the drunken group behind us. Ive never done that before. It's raining now so last night may well have been my last meeting in Palmerston North It wont become alcohol restricted of course, and someone else will pay more for my seat next year, the cars will look flashier and go faster. It's just become something I no longer want to attend

If it wasn't for the last race, qualifying would have been completed without any rolls.... Anything to bring back the biff would help a waning interest in what is purported to be a premier event. There is more action in the tq class here at home...........

Announcing the Hall of Fame inductees to the crowd and giving them a lap of honour on the back of a ute

huge one for me. do tier 1 semi finals first. give people more time to get cars right for final. and even 3rd and 5th races. as a top 4 qualifier you deserve that extra time. make ginals a bit better

Start on time so you don't have to cull a race. Second year in a row they haven't run the 3rd superstock consolation.
Would be nice to have the previous winners in the programme too like they do for the 240s.

Insist the commentators read and understand the teams racing rules so they dont repetitively broadcast incorrect info to the crowd who understandably take their words as gospel.

I don't normally level criticism at commentators but how can three out of four not know that a car is weighed sans driver. A few other rules wrong as well, mostly around stationary cars. The two best funny clangers, and beleive me this stuff is easy to do in the heat of the moment when mouth is engaged before brain were Dave P who told us the "The Panthers were the only team to fill all five placings in one race". And when they were working out who else had won the 1nz and teams champs in same season, he helpfully told us that he remembers a few of the Panthers who did so in the 70s lol

Why oh why have the "Wedges" doing lap after lap behind the ute, and than can the Stock cars for the Pole Shuffle, most people come for the Stock Cars, not those other things, I think one was a Mustang of some sort ( How did I know because it looked nothing like a real Mustang, but it had Mustang across a wing thing on its rear end). Also the sound system in the Stand was absolute crap, especially when on the roving mike with commentators shouting into their microphones. As earlier stated its time the commentators learnt the basic rules as wrong info was given all nite, Oh he hit a stationary car, ohh they need the points (It was 1st past the post idiot) The worst was the commentary crew, it became nothing but an annoying drone, non stop all nite, and not accurate or informative, just a banshee like screaming even when racing was underway. I like most of the crowd left after the last teams race, not slightly interested in those funny looking dinky toys who had already cost me a super stock race with 30 plus cars, so they could create a dust cloud for the minority who do follow the "Super Saloons".

1) Would like to see less black on the team's to make them more distinctive. 2) A better prepared track for the pro dirt if they are going to be back next year. Last night didn't show how good they really are. 3) Lose the fireworks with the lights on, found it a bit weird. Happy to lose them altogether to be honest. With a meeting like that no ones there for that kind of fireworks. 4) I don't know how to fix it but address the 3 minute bell/ grid up games. 5) Hall of fame to be done with the crowd (still don't know who they were).
Side note, enjoyed the commentary. Mal Sines always informative and really liked how the officials were given an opportunity to be interviewed over the Rees situation. Good to hear both sides.

-ditch the fireworks. -have races for 13 and 14th right up to the final etc etc. It's teams champs weekend we the public want teams races not saloon cars and consolation races so every team could have 4 races over weekend. -loved everything else apart from that official trying to really kill the final. -Tom harris to lead his GB troops over to do battle next year. -hitting of parked cars eg 2 massive cheap shots on Tim Ross. Get rid of it as cars aren't going to drive straight in front of a car anymore they're just going too fast. -early parade -Hall of fame on track also. They deserve the entire crowd to see this. Just my opinion but all in all how good is teams racing. Respect to the drivers. Cheerioo

I didn't enjoy the super saloons last night either. Felt like it took an eternity to set them at times which as another poster pointed out ultimately cost us the third stock car consolation. Like others, I go to see stock car racing although I have enjoyed the saloons in previous years. Overall an enjoyable weekend although the final the last two seasons has been an anti climax with the races being so one sided.
