Cream always comes to the top,I wonder how the track will hold up she is going to be slick come the second night, as for the action i think there will be plenty the rivalry within the teams will see to that

Drivers that can avoid the mayhem at turn one for all 3 races will stand the best chance. So the cream may not rise to the top, but the lucky ones probably will.

if you draw grid 5-10 in your first qualifying heat at Rotovegas your very unlikely to make it to the finals, not really an even playing surface there, unfortunately.

Very disapointing that despite all these alternate theories of qualifying etc nobody has suggested boat races in the clubrooms as yet! Everything can change in turn one but isn't that the beauty of it? Yes it will be very tough to qualify but it always is in the 240s as well and most years the majority of the field are top drivers in good gear so as someone said in general terms the cream always rises but you get the odd battler making it to and how cool is that? Think Carl Burns last year

It's a real shame BB, that with a meeting such as this with what will undoubtedly be the biggest gathering of Superstocks ever (by a substantial margin) on one of the country's best tracks for Superstocks (if not the best) presented by the best organised track in the country (bar none) that that is all you can find to add. I'll leave this post there because there are a few other stupid posts in this thread already. I just hope you're attending, that you enjoy it, and you can find something better to say, even if it's a criticism, other than just trolling.

Without biting at said post, wasn't it last year there was almost zero trouble in turn 1 at the 240s and most of the action happened in turn 3? Obviously, Brett Nicholls is fresh in the mind but from memory, that spot was where most of the action came. Disclaimer: My memory ain't great

Obviously, Brett Nicholls is fresh in the mind but from memory, that spot was where most of the action came. Disclaimer: My memory ain't great moving the start line closer to turn one has negated most of the carnage that used to happen. Gives everyone a fair crack at getting into the race rather than just trying to survive. Bit safer too is my thinking. This will be a heck of a show.

Drivers lining up for the shake down will be important and getting tyre pressures and set up right if you pop a tyre early on you could just about kiss good bye to making the finals the first corner issues are a lot better but drivers still dive for the poll line and lean on everyone else which creates half the carnage so if you draw outside or down the pack are you better off to Take it easy and get around the first corner or roll the dice and race the race?
