From the previous time they hosted the title. Is that when Dale Evers won it from grids 5 18 and 18??? You might like to ask Tim for the qualifying nights grids not the finals Graeme

It's looking increasingly likely that the weather is going to play a major role in determining when this event is going to be held. Even the rained off date of the 4th looks unlikely to happen either. What are the contingency plans beyond that??

I wouldn't read too much into a weather forecast until 3 or so days out, personally..

Sunday and Monday look wet. Thanks TonyT. Rotorua does have a contingency plan in place, and I'll be able to update here as time goes by. It's a little bit far out yet to look at all of the options, plus later in the week we'll have a better idea on how things are looking. They've already improved from a few days ago. Barry B

I don't know how you can say it has improved, I just looked at the updated forecast and it now seems they have added a thunderstorm for Sunday... Any who, I have until tomorrow night until I pull the pin on my accommodation as I just could not afford to come back and do it twice and so the world's if this is a washout as its looking likely to be... The GP may get a few more numbers now I'd say.

From Tony T's forecast above Friday and Saturday now sounds much more positive. But you're right, Sunday is still looking terrible, but hopefully that'll change too as the week goes on.

Have no fear people the meeting is in 2021 and I predict it’s going to be a much better year worldwide and that includes no rainouts at any big meetings 😎.
Can’t wait for this meeting, got all 3 live streams booked and counting down the days

weathers always unsettled after the New Year in the BOP, tail ends of tropical cyclons seem to pop up.

Do you or anyone know if there was much damage from the Nelson hit? Perhaps the earlier comment about replacing the rear diff tells some of the story ... at a massive guess, as my next question is what was the hit at Nelson?
