Hey Mr Mac. Remember the Gis teams champs. Peewee was sitting just before turn 4 up near the wall, facing to the infield. Crushers left him alone for about 4 laps. Bruce (8g) even came to push him off and got waved away by Pete. Then with Harry Potter(Lovel, G racing for C) leading , running by the pole line and a wingman beside him, Pete took both out, ending Lovel's race. Will always be one of the greatest shots in team racing, I reckon. Pete could see it from 4 laps out? Plus Barry Hunter and Eddie Hawkins setting the stage for such actions year's before. Pete was the smartest though, playing possum until the time to strike was ripe. Barry's trick of going to the infield early in the race to observe and then reappear on track later to take out the lead opposition also springs to mind. Makes me wonder why they make new rules when it was so entertaining as it was lol. At least Pete stayed on the track, lol! |

"Extremely painful" really Stikshift87? You sound like you need to go see a doctor! Incessant mispronounciation? How about your spelling wotshot - god has a capital G for starters and "its" has an apostrophe between the "t" and the "s"  What is painful Stikshift87 is the misprounciation of te Reo Māori. Out of all commentators in speedway Paul is the ONLY one who pronounces Māori words properly! Every other commentator butchers the Māori words. As a speaker of Te Reo that's what I hard on the ears - where there is no attempt to pronounce vowels and consonants properly. Don't make this a race thing Make no mistake.
