The Alleycats have announced on their facebook page that the Rees Shield will be on the line in their matchup against the Pumas
The last recorded race for the shield was on 19th February 2022, just over one year ago!

So have just heard if weather causes a issue tomorrow then will more than likely be a 1 day meeting combining qualifying and finals all on Saturday, no idea on start times or details but just a heads up if people worried about traveling. Tomorrow's forecast to me looks like it could go either way so fingers crossed tomorrow goes ahead and any weather goes around the track as it has done in the past

I imagine Huntly's annual event may return if and when they lose the official NZ title. They wouldn't want to be running to Stockcar teams meetings in the same season. Barry B Wasnt the invasion on the calendar for Huntly but it rained out like so many other events but with a packed schedule going close to other events it couldn't be postponed so was just cancelled.... I could be wrong... I know we sent the pumas to Rotorua but I thought we also had them going there for the invasion at one stage. |

I hate to ask the question but.. whats huntlys rain out plan for this weekend friday doesnt look good Just gonna run it Monday morning before work after everyone has gone home…. Back 2 back 2 back Champions!!! #3peat Ummm they haven't defended the title yet so IF they do win it is only a back to back champions. You can't consider keeping it last year due to COVID-19 actually DEFENDING the title! |

The FB Page has just aired a video and asked us to share this. they will be posting on all thier sites when they can but it takes time.
Friday night no longer racing
Saturday will race as one day event
cars arrive early, sorry i cant remeber the gate times - but racing 2pm for qualifyers, then they will race other classes, while cars repair, then race the finals towards the evening.
$50 per adult tack entry $100 family
stream is now $80 or $85 as just one event
the video is on the pits media FB page if you want any more info immeidately that i havent put but they will post on the huntly sites soon

Postponed until tomorrow, now a day/night meeting.
Pit Gate opens at 9am
Public Gate opens at 11am
Scrutineering 9am-11am
Racing starts at 2pm (although it may be brought forward depending on weather)
Livestream (Pits Media) is now also one cost, $85
Costs are $50 per adult, $100 per family, covers all teams races plus the support classes as advertised (Superstocks, Modifieds etc). Expecting roughly an 8 hour meeting with no breaks.

Wow $85 that is really expensive..
I was only ever going to be avaliable to watch qualifying night because i have other things on, now id be able to watch half of the meeting on early saturday but $85 i cannot justify that just to miss half of it… if it was broken into 2 segmants that would have been ideal guess i will just miss out

Yeah I hear ya, and my post was more than a little tongue in cheek but I note doubt was thrown over the info given fairly soon after the post advising what the rep had said. The problem with hearsay is you'll never know how good the info/source they heard was. |

I totally get the $85 cost for live stream.
I'll happily pay the cost:
- for the teams racing
- supports including superstocks & mods
- just to support Jase and the team.
it's been a tough year for businesses.
