The new 3NZ seems to be the target of some ill feeling ... In this instance the referee's decision may have favoured someone and allowed them to gain what seems like an advantage to some, but ultimately, you cannot direct such ill-feeling towards the competitor, in this case the 46M driver. Sure he may have made an error on the track at some stage, but is there any driver that has never made a mistake. At the end of the day congratulations go to all those competitors who were out on the track racing to win, but especially those who achieved 1, 2 and 3NZ. Well done. Thats my 2 cents- Rick- 23K superstock Rick, that was a helliva lot more than 2 cents worth! Pure gold. You're quite correct. THANKS RICK! Sorry we needed reminding! Put your hand up if you would have relegated yourself to the rear against the refs ruling - opps, must be a lot of armless folk out there!

Always play to the whistle! Congatulations Brent McClymont, Dave McCallion and Terry Corin.
Awsome for the Mount cars 1NZ & 3NZ and sounds like 2NZ was a popular win too
I'm trying to talk sendatee into doing a 'macgors' short skirt, bib and a hanky/nappy for the knockers.

A picture of happiness… Dave McCallion back in Blenheim today with an ear to ear grin which most likely won’t have subsided before the end of this season’s racing ;D ;D ;D Thats a far better look than the one he had after the third heat on qualifying night

... They stopped him for [glow=red,2,300] maybe [/glow] being illegal? What happens to Innocent to proven guilty? A number of cars were, in the opinion of SNZ (and there's is the only one that counts when push comes to shove), did not comply with the saloon rules in a variety of areas. Some competitors were clearly allowed to rectify and race with no penalty, another raced but apparently with an unresolved issue, Paul Cressy did not compete, but the issue has been resolved. As to the rational or rules that permit the SNZ Officials such latitude and or discretion, I have no knowledge. By the by, AS I UNDERSTAND IT, the SNZ Rule book notes the responsibility is on the competitor to prove / establish the compliance of a race vehicle's componants if brought into question. It is not the responsibility of SNZ to prove non-compliance! In my case I've lost before I even start, as I wouldn't know where to start!

...4. The driver that cause the whole thing (and he knows who he is) gets a national placing??? Everyone knows its a claytons placing but it will forever be written in the results... I think that's pretty low actually. Who, among the drivers here, hasn't made a mistake that caused a little carnage and got away with it? Very few is my guess. There's a saying that it's better to be lucky than good. Well, everyone gets lucky sometimes and the crap hits the fan for everyone at some time. I say congrat's to 1NZ, 2NZ AND 3NZ. .........but without constructive criticism nobody is going to get better. Cheers Pud. But the problem is that it's not constructive criticism, it's just stone throwing. Not to mention you hide behind the anonymity of a new poster with a single post so far. I wonder who you really are and what your agenda is???
