So if any other track other than wellington wins would they make it a real NZ champs and open it to all tracks To be honest any host track CAN only run it with their own team and 1 other if thats what they wanted to do. I know there is no good reason for them to do that but if they chose to they can. There is no set format or guidelines laid down. If a smaller track wins they can decide, if they choose that they will have their own + 7 other teams to make it an 8 team event. which will keep their costs down plenty and still attract a good crowd. some might suspect I am speaking with only one eye open, and that maybe so but I am of the opinion that Welly has always treated the event and attending teams well and priced what is a premier event on the speedway calender at reasonable prices. We would love to see Chch up for the event and I'm sure if Welly happen to win this year, then there is a very good chance we will see that happen in 09/10 season.

I have full confidence in this happening, and once it does....

question from the Observer "Hi there - I've read the Waikato drivers list, and see CJ Chesnutt in the team.
I'm assuming this is Senior, rather than junior, since Junior hasn't raced, and Senior was one of the stars of the Waikato race?
If so, that makes them very tough to beat."
not quite correct, CJ has raced this year, even if only one and a half races at Huntly, and as a driver is registered to Huntly. Senior was asked to race but declined and suggested Junior may be willing.
It is a case of one car, many drivers in the hot seat.
On its return from Wellington, the plan is for Martin Chesnutt to drive in Auckland, then Senior to drive at the North Islands in HB - for reasons that will hopefully become interesting from this spectators point of view.
seems one car, many drivers from same family and maybe different letter on the door as suits.

That question can only be answered by the committee or promoter of the track once it has won and had the time to plan the event, which as you can well imagine is a very big job.

That is correct mate. For the Stockcars, the winner of the Teams Champs host it the following year from there region. The Superstock Teams are annually held in Palmerston North in February, also Auckland in March. The most brutal motorsport in exsistance So what Teams champs is the UK team racing in? And what would happen if they were to somehow create a miracle and win the champs? Where would it be held then? Or would they nominate a track of their choice to host next yrs event??

Hopefully they return anyway, it is great for the sport & a great bunch of drivers..

So seems you have taken the checkered flag as a part of the All Stars Marty, I guess you are saying you expect the UK team to win
