well if you judge the best by form and results then booth will win hands down. i am also assuming you are refering to modern superstock drivers and not those of the stockcar era.

Don't know about all time but if you look at current drivers it would be hard to go passed Shane Penn. He has won most of the large championship's other than 1nz. Close behind would be Craig Boote with lots of old championship's but hasn't got much YET after his return of 8 years away

I think Frankie Wainman Jr and Craig Boote definitely top the list. Until recently FWJ was jumping into foreign cars that would be scraping to be in the top 10 at big meetings, and cleaning up in them. He would only lose if taken out! Now he has his own car.. but i wonder if it is still yet to reach its potential. He is far and away the best.. aside from Boote.. waltzes into the sport and wins 3 NZ champs in what.. 5 years? who else does that? as well as many other titles and teams events.. all eyes will be on Boote the rest of this season. Believe me i was more a fan of anyone who hit him, than him, but theres no disputing his success.

Best all time driver: Dave Evans Best drivers never to have won NZ title: Shane Penn / Tony Mac Best current teams racer: Peter Bengston Best teams racers of all time: Peter Bengston / Dave Evans / Murray Hobbs / Eddie Hawkins Drivers never to be under estimated: Garry Trotter / Andy McCabe / Graeme Barr
Well thats what I think anyway, have a great New Years everyone.

Murray Hobbs without a doubt. Only won the NZ title once, but was a fantastic teams racer, and competitor. Next I would say .....ooohhh too many to choose from.

In my mind I would have to go with Rodney Wood. He had a great teams record and after seeing him in a number of nz champs he would be on top of the points going in to the last race then get pipped at the end, being very unlucky to never get 1NZ. He I would say be the best.
