Perhaps the other 11 teams understand the intention of the rule and actually care about the fans?

So smart that I'm sure Bruce Robertson will get to the bottom of it and sort it out for next year. It's his show at the end of the day.
UPDATE; Bruce has just phoned as I typed this, about another matter. He does not know why the Nelson Tigers have decided to do what they have done, and as they were there to race he has let them race as he has bigger things to worry about. But he does say it will be sorted before next year's event.

any onther team and they would have been eliminated, but again the Panthers get away with it, am surprised the Mustangs havent protested the move was very visual on the big screen....Im not downing the Panthers they deserved all the wins they have had, but 1 rule should cover all, if its illegial, come on Mustangs won that race!!!

No, the Mustangs were able to slow/stop Bengston long enough to have Dare take the lead, until he was held up long enough for Jack Miers to pass him and take the win. Mustangs lost that race fair and square, no questions about it.

I'm not sure what race it was in but apparently he was pushed, one wheel went on grass and he pushed back and onto track. It was protested or whatever there is in teams and was deemed fair.

That would have been against tigers in turn 3, he backed off & let the tigers car past & gave him a headstart. This is what was shown on the video from the live stream on youtube

I haven't seen this year's programme, but I think they normally have a race before the teams start.

Why winge and moan now ?? Im sure the racing was done lastnite and certainly the officials would have dealt with it if they thought it was deemed illegal . Looking at the videos on youtube there was plenty of cars on and off the grass , so why single out just one driver . God help us all if Palmy win the final , we will hear how they won by default for the next six months. Everyone though / hoped that the Panthers were going to be fragile with the loss of Rees but they proved them all wrong . In what you would call the pool of death , they did exceptionally well to demolish their two top opponents.. Sour grapes anyone .lol
