Roxy I tend to agree 100% with you. Of course it depends on the makeup of the rest

I know it would make some people cry in their race fuel, but it would be interesting to know where each driver comes from... as in area of residence. What club they are signed with is of little interest as they tend to sign up to a club on a whim.

No Leveins due to there being no wildcats, but also not named in the stockcar team for Stratford this weekend. Am I reading too much into this?

Also no Randy T in the All Stars. That is only for this wknd v gb not palmy I spoke with Randy at the World 240's, he said he'd be in the Allstars team at Palmy but after that only a couple more majors this season such as the North Islands. Reason for this is family commitments, he does have an 8 month old boy now. No secret his car is up for sale too.

Wellington club seems to have been taking ever increasing steps in the wrong direction over the last 4 - 5 years. NZ Dirt Track Racing Mags editor noted in an issue as season started that they were struggling to get a commitment to regularly contribute to them publish each months activities. I will be amazed if this club will report to the mag covering the NZ Streetstock Champs held this past weekend. With the club unable to form a Wildcats team this season, the Brendon Tye matter as previously mentioned in this thread and the Levien brothers omission from the Young Guns team to Stratford for the West Coast Teams surely it's time for the club to be transparent with their fans and to do some serious public relations work.

There definitely seems to be something going on behind the scene in terms of politics, will be interesting to see how it plays out over the next year or so

Has it ever occurred that some drivers may not WANT to participate in teams events?

Only 1 car in the NZ champs final race and nobody on the podium at the 240's.

Kerry Podjursky is a co manager of the Mustangs along side Wayne Hemi. How much teams experience is there in that management !!!
I see Scott Miers and Gary Parkes managers for Panthers, as well as Horse taking a roll with the busters.... SO many great drivers helping the teams still. totally amazing

With there being close ties between the Leviens & Randy T & no Wildcats, is there a possibility that the Allstars could look something like a combination out of 5w, 46w, 66a, 72a, 95a, 96a? Just putting it out there, but the Allstars aren't named yet for Palmerston North and what a great team that would be.
