Unfortunately there is a asylum patient that voices his opinion as posted above ,shame really But get to the main ticket sales box early to secure seats ,dont leave it late ,waiting in a que is not much fun but missing out is much worse .
Enjoy your selves and remember there will be a strong presence of traffic about on Saturday ,leave with plenty of time up your sleeve ..

As a last minute thing, my partner and I have decided to make the trek southwards for Teams Champs this year - but only for night two due to other commitments. Of course, leaving it so late meant that allocated seating was all gone (no surprises), meaning we only had GA seating available. As it has been many years since I have been, I'm looking for a bit of advice. What time would the more seasoned fans advise we turn up at the gate? And, are we going to be faced with people covering seats in blue tarps and claiming them early - or has that practice dropped off? Any advise would be appreciated. The Gates are opening at 3pm there is no major putting down tarps, the entire area is now seating or stands. People might put a blanket down and head to the pits. There are decent areas that are GA still but I would honestly go at gate opening. 1. To get parking and 2. To be able to choose seats. I have allocated seating but I still go early due to parking.... Also check out the website as they have tightened rules on drinks sizes and no commercial food. No large seats as it is now all seats. Take a small cushion if U wish... No large signs... Your bags/chilli bags have to fit under your feet, not take up another seat lol

We’re staying within walking distance, so it’ll be Shanks Pony for us, with a target to get to the gate in plenty of time. If I have read it right, gates open at 3pm both days, so we will rock up by 4pm and hope for the best. Really appreciate the help

Have you already got your GA tickets? If not, there are usually people selling allocated tickets on here or other social media pages as their plans have changed.
Hope you get a good seat and enjoy the show.

With the bad weather forecast for Saturday, hope they make a call as early as possible, save people travel, I know some who are doing a 5 hour round trip each nite, rather than pay accommodation. .

As the absolute vast majority of spectators, drivers, teams, plus locals are already there the call will be made last minute. As seen with a few meets of late every possible thing will be done to make sure the meeting goes ahead until it can't. Just my opinion and do feel for those travelling but......
The only positive I can see is the wind.

Weather looks way worse Friday.
Strong winds on Saturday will see it blow through and clear for both nights racing. Track might hold a bit of moisture for first 3 races Saturday but will be quick remaining of the night….. my pick anyway.

The issue is if this is correct what time those showers are coming. Ive been to one teams champs when it rained during and then we sat there while trucks and graders got out there and fixed the track and then they finished the night. Ive also seen one other weather forecast that has it forecasted for thunderstorms ----- which one is correct lol

We have had the dark clouds and im waiting for them to break and dump the water in them but so far the wind has kept blowing them over..... Im expecting maybe tonight they will rain overnight
