G'day. I'm Ryano from the Brisbane Formula Stockrods. I have read the posts to the Barry Family and what a tragedy it is for these good folk and all race fans. The links are building between Oz and NZ as well as the Poms with driver exchanges but 1 thing is common throughout, and that is when a tragedy as this occurs, it reminds us what a dangerous sport we chose to pursue. May I also say, a sport we love. From our Club and to all Racers, may we stand together and spare a thought for Peter and also his Family in this time of sadness. Reading into the posts, he must have been a great bloke and will live in the memories of everyone he came in contact with. RIP Mate. Ryano

Pete, you will be missed greatly.
Whenever you rolled into the Palmy pits, everyone knew that the night just got more exciting! Had you made the long rumoured move the Superstocks you would have been a welcome addition to the ranks with your aggressive driving style.
To the Barry family, our heartfelt condolences go out to you. Remember you have the support of the entire Speedway family.
RIP 71b

Never met the man, but by all accounts of him on macgors in the last few weeks or so, he definitely provided some entertainment, and drove his grade of choice the way they were meant to be driven.
Keep stirring it up, on the big race track in the sky Peter.
Our condolences, to the Barry family at this time.
Mav and family.
