He has withdrawn from NZ and 240 champs. Maybe now his focus will be the teams. Lets hope his wrist is better for this event as he's a must watch at the teams weekend.

Heard he was putting someone in the tank but I'd think the team would be Remnent O'brian Costello Decke and someone like Elsworth Ross or Fraser

Heard that the teams race against the Hawkeyes was the only teams race Horse was doing. With Karl Ross with gisborne maybe we will see Fraser in horses tank.. I'm only guessing though..

With it now only a month away and the big meetings are starting, clubs must be looking and selecting their teams over the next few weeks. Will it be the usual suspects doing battle or will we see new blood in the ranks.

Baypark will be there with bells on lol.. Remnant , Costello , Decke , Obrien . Fraser [ see he has a drive at 240,s and possibly Elsworth .. Now that's a sharp looking team.. Mark Costello confirmed on a radio interview he won't be doing Palmy teams this year because his partner is due to have there first baby the same weekend as teams champs. Kyle Fraser is racing the 73g car just so potential buyers can see it out there racing, no indication from him as to if he'll do teams but that will come down to the car owner DR

I stand to be corrected but I heard today that Mr Robertson Esq has refused Gisborne entry to the Teams Champs. If this is correct there can be no other reason but pure sour grapes

To be honest I wonder how the other teams feel about this decision. They should threaten to pull out, then see what He does. The Rees have contributed a lot in the past for him (my thoughts)

If this is correct there can be no other reason but pure sour grapes the Rees pulled out of the teams champs at the last minute last year of their own accord who's to say they won't pull the same trick again this year.

I stand to be corrected but I heard today that Mr Robertson Esq has refused Gisborne entry to the Teams Champs. If this is correct there can be no other reason but pure sour grapes If this is true then so what? There could be a huge list of reasons to keep only 12 teams. If the previous clubs have all confirmed they will attend then why bother accepting another entry? I don't know the reason they left in the first place, nor do I care. Their choice for changing clubs. But 12 teams fit into the pits, the format works, the costs for the event must work...<insert other reasons> Was it last year and the year prior they weren't there? I don't even remember, but the spectators sure still looked to have enjoyed themselves? There are 60 or so other drivers at the event who put on one heck of a show, it was an amazing weekend before them, and will continue to be the highlight of the speedway calendar.

there is no word ive herd of a hard straight no, it seems to be going that way, theres a lot of reason why he would say no,but also lot of reasons why he would say yes, so many things to play out which wolnt happen for a few more weeks yet im guessing. so until things are comfirmed its all just rumours.

I think people will have to question weather the Gisborne Superstock team would be able to commit to being in Palmerston North for a number of coming seasons.
Can the Rees commit to having a G on their cars next season? Why let a new team in when other tracks try harder to return year after year. If my memory serves, its been along time since Gisborne had a team entered.
