why is it 50 bucks? just seems very steep. Well it's $40 an adult without reserved seating. Food and drink cheaper at home and also if you don't live in Palmerston you save on gas and model. For the entertainment it's cheap. Get a mate around and go halfs (50 for two nights) I didn't see Chch vs Hawkes Bay. Other than that stream was awesome. Yeah you're right, the stream was awesome - if your in to freezing video, missing video, stuttering, echoing or missing sound. I agree that paying for something and then not receiving it is awesome. I have read a lot of comments on this site and others along the lines of "be grateful you got something" and "if you don't like it then go to the track". I really do not understand why people have these attitudes. These streams are a commercial venture that the providers are profiting from and they have an obligation to provide what they are advertising. As consumers we have a right to expect that the goods we purchase are as advertised and suitable for purpose, if they do not meet these requirements there should be compensation. In a situation like last night the fact that some of the problems, like power outages, are out of the suppliers control is totally irrelevant and not the ends users problem. The supplier should protect themselves from this sort of liability. I have had the stream from Palmy plenty of times in the past and have never had the stuttering and freezing picture and sound that was experienced last night. I am no techy but I cant help but feel that they over sold the stream and their gear maybe was not up to the task the volume required, once again, if this is the case, it is not the end users problem. To those who say "put up with it, it is better than nothing" - would you say this if you purchased a V8 car and when it arrived found out it had a 4 cylinder? - this is exactly the same scenario, we did not get what was advertised and paid for

These streams must be running on the same provider as SkyGo. All are providing customers with some satisfying results ?

Nice conspiracy theory, but it is a matter of record that there were major power supply issues to parts of the facility last night. We can all be grateful that the track lighting was on a different circuit to the power feed to the comm. box, officials etc or there would have been major discontent from the full stadium. Anyway, great weather, great crowd and great racing last night. Bring it on tonight!

I watched it last night and yes missed a race. But really for what we got - live races, cameras on the infield etc I don't think it was really that bad

For this particular event, we doubled the number of servers that usually deliver the stream to you at home. Throughout the evening we still had ample capacity without needing to also bring online a scaling server solution from Amazon. The key point being having successfully delivered last year's event, we were more than prepared for the numbers and could of handled a tenfold increase. Also important is the level of support service - normally we have a team of 2 or 3 people behind the scenes on the live chat & monitoring the service, this weekend we have 9. Looking at the stats I believe we responded to 95% of people within a couple of minutes, promptly resolving any issues they experienced. Last night's event will be available on-demand via stream.videohub.co.nz exclusively for those who purchased last night.

Has this changed?. Only receiving the usual 1 hr test

I kept my 50 bucks and ill keep todays 50 bucks and ill have saved 100 bucks and no hassle and no regrets. you people must make sure you are freaking bullet proof before you start offering services to the public...

Too be blunt it's your loss , I certainly saw enough action to satisfy my lust. Yes the stream had more problems than I would have expected and that aspect was disappointing . Worth noting that Full Flavour handle the distribution side for VideoHub they are not the creator or uploaders. Hope I've understood that correctly.
