The way Baypark is run at the moment we might be lucky to see the 3rd heat, can't handle 28 midgets, don't know how they will handle 180 stockcars,a bit scary.

Refresh my memory - what are the time restrictions on Baypark speedway to end meetings etc?

Racing between 6.30 and 10pm. Can go to 10.15ish if the race was started prior to ten. Something pretty close to that anyway.

It varies slightly depending on the meeting status, but I think it's 10.10pm for an NZ title. But yes, the last race has to of started before 10.00pm. It may even be something like 10.05pm, but extended til 10.10pm if there's a caution/red light. It's a little complicated I know that. A club night has even tighter restrictions to a national title or an international meeting.
And start time is severely restricted too, so what they need to do is start the second they're legally able too. They haven't always been good at that and hence are chasing the clock all night.

The benefit Bay Park having such a big track is bigger fields - saw on the website 5 groups of 36 cars! That should give time to complete the meeting and any run offs!

Anywhere I can find an entry list for this?
Very happy to see billboards up around Baypark advertising this. Have been up for a few weeks now. Hopefully there's a decent crowd.

93 entries... A bit short of the 'rumoured 200'! Is there really only 5 south island cars entered?

I wonder how much of an impact teams being so close has on this entry list.

Yes everything is to close together this season for the stockcars and Baypark is not really a stockcar track,i think a lot of drivers have decided Teams racing at Stratford is a bit more important,i was going to go to Baypark but have decided not to go because I didn't enjoy the midget night there, they are just to unorganised for my liking and im scared the bloody curfew will rear its ugly head again.
