The Rotorua Rebels to travel to Waikaraka Park Auckland to compete in the Superstock Teams Nationals is....

A massive welcome to Mig Rumney making his Superstock teams racing debut.

The Wanganui Warriors team is heading to the Teams Nationals for the first time in a very long time. The team named today by manager Cameron Jurgens is:

Kings have special Anzac Weeknd merch too!!!
Not a Kings fan, but have to tip my hat to this idea seeing as will be racing on such a special day for our country.
Hopefully some sort of ceremony will be happening b4 racing on saturday also.
Lest we forget.
Side note.
Permanent move to Anzac weekend?
I think it would be awesome idea, spreads the teams racing out a bit.
Huntly start of season
Teams Champs in middle
End it all at Teams Nats

In previous years I've been critical of the build up to this meeting and the lack of promotion. I am beyond happy with the social media presence, the engagement and the excitement being generated ahead of this meeting. It's feels like this great event is finally being given the importance it so deserves and has deserved for so long.
11 teams would be the 6th most in event history and the most since 1995/96.
Might be time to get a sub board and start posting some team and driver stats?

Early March would suit to allow for a re-schedule if required.
I think the teams need to be asked why they are attending this year over other years.
Is it because:
* Date change / long weekend
* Bruce thrown more money at the teams
* Coincidence, or
* Just the purple patch that superstocks seem to be having at the moment.
Either way this year is leaps and bounds better than any recently run Teams Nats. Can sometimes be a few days out from the event and they are struggling to get 5 or so teams. More teams leads to more hype, and at least there is something to promote.
